That looks quite nice.
Anyone want the game? I'm willing to gift.
Even if I'm a lurker?
Even if I'm a lurker?
Sorry, gave it away to Prodigy. He PM'd first. BUT if I have enough money left on my card I'll buy it for you.
Such a nice pig.
Does Notch ever plan to use something other than Java?
Anyone want the game? I'm willing to gift.
I would greatly appreciate it, if you have any money left.
I saw someone on TF2 playing with your avatar as his on a 3FL 2fort server. That you, or is it more widespread than I thought?
How long ago? Because I do play on that server. Also, I don't have any money left at the moment, the game is $18 NZD. Sorry guys.
Anyone think he should make a super rare Herobrine?
Fuck yeah haloween update!
Bought Minecraft today. WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO?
Find green monsters, give them hugs.
Fixed. + correct
In most programming languages, the != operator is the "not equal" operator, it can also be expressed as !( boolean1 == boolean2), which calculates whether or not boolean1 and boolean2 are the same, then negates it. Since the subject was about programming, using != is applicable. [editline]somethinggoeshere[/editline]
Bought Minecraft today. WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO?
Survive. You have until nightfall to build yourself a little shelter to protect yourself from the nighttime monsters. Spoiler if you want to try and figure it out by yourself, if you just want to know how to survive your first minecraft night, read this: [sp]You should cut down some trees. Drop all the tree blocks into your crafting area (press i to open your inventory) to create planks. Take all your new planks and drop them back on the crafting area, this time one in each of the 4 blocks. This creates a workbench that allows you to craft things on a 3x3 area. Move this out into your inventory, possibly on the very bottom so you can place it later. Right click on the planks that remain to grab half of them. Put them on any block in the crafting area. Grab the other half, and put them above or below the first one (depending on where you put it). This should generate sticks. In order to survive the night, you need a light source, because monsters can pop out from anywhere that's dark. But you can't make light sources without coal. Place your workbench somewhere on the ground. If you have any planks remaining, use them, otherwise go grab 2 or 3 more tree trunks and turn them into planks. In order to mine coal, you need a pickaxe, so right click the workbench to craft a wooden pickaxe. Drop two sticks on the bottom and middle center blocks of the 3x3 grid, then put planks over the entire top row. You should have a pickaxe. Now without straying too far from your spawn area, scan the area to see if you can find any gray rock. If you can, look around and see if there's any rock with little black spots on it. That's coal. Go ahead and mine it with your pickaxe, once you've got one or two, press i to get to the inventory and place one stick down and a piece of coal just over that in the crafting area. Congratulations, you have 4 torches. Break your workbench (don't worry, it reappears in your inventory) Mine out a little home into the side of a hill or something, and cover the entrance up, leaving just a 1x1 hole to see what time of day it is. Place the workbench and a torch there. Wait out the first night. If you're feeling a little bold, go mining at night, but don't forget your torches and backup pickaxes.[/sp]
How long ago? Because I do play on that server. Also, I don't have any money left at the moment, the game is $18 NZD. Sorry guys.
Sometime today, or was it yesterday.. I just checked the scoreboard. If you saw a person called Skittles there, well, that's me.
Seems pressure plate TNT is useless as a mine, too long a delay before it explodes; the spider I was testing it on was well out of range before it blew. On the plus side, the crater did expose veins of iron and coal :D
Notch should make TNT blow up instantly if it is triggered by electricity.
Seems pressure plate TNT is useless as a mine, too long a delay before it explodes; the spider I was testing it on was well out of range before it blew.
You need to dig a pit below the TNT so that when it activates it falls, trapping the mob until it detonates.

You know what would be terrifying, if these new mobs could actively attack your structures, like your walls and stuff. As bad as it would be you would require us to rethink how we build stuff like stone and wood walls.
Read all from page 110 to this post only 10% posts were worth posting also self irony
holy shit i love the tools and armor in that pack [img_thumb]http://www.agonyart.com/file/eldpack_4.jpg[/img_thumb] i mean look at that jesus christ
This started playing in my head when I saw the pack. Seriously. The graphics remind me of Breath of Fire 3 so much it's not even funny.

One method would be for it to determine which blocks the player placed as opposed to natural formations. This would require the AI to also differentiate between the player building a structure or, for example, just filling in a quarry with dirt after they're done. If they don't, they'll be digging themselves into previously-filled pits. Another would be for the AI to just take the fastest route to the player (as it does at the moment, once they spot you), and dig through anything in the way. If the player is higher than the mob, they would also have to take into account building some sort of staircase (or just knocking the floor out from under the player) Would be awesome if it does get implemented, at the moment my day 1 dirt forts might as well be adminium to the mobs.

Can anyone give me 79C AUD on paypal, I already waited 7 days (5 business) to find I am 79c short from getting Minecraft. Is there a users guide I should read before playing? [editline]07:22PM[/editline] And can you save your games?
I think if that does happen it should be a new difficulty or there should be an option to turn it off.
I think if that does happen it should be a new difficulty or there should be an option to turn it off.
That too, perhaps Easy they can't break blocks, Normal at normal speed, Hard they break blocks faster.
Might have missed this but its not in the OP or the last few pages http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=46173 32x32 texture fix
I was thinking certain materials would be harder for the little bastards to break.
I think I missed out on the gifting, anyone wanna gift me it? :unsmith:
It's a whole $10
