Made a quick texture pack for myself once I found out about HD textures. Pretty much just took the majority of the textures and stacked them four times in the larger texture, and then made my own grass/dirt texture (which I actually think looks quite nice):
I was thinking certain materials would be harder for the little bastards to break.
Certainly, they'd have trouble breaking through anything that requires a pickaxe, unless they sent forth creepers like medieval sappers.
Certainly, they'd have trouble breaking through anything that requires a pickaxe, unless they sent forth creepers like medieval sappers.
I can imagine, of course notch will implement this all in his zombie siege gamemode, along with friendly npc's.
Can't wait for the update, hope he fixes mobs and minecarts for SMP.
Did Wombo release his texture pack? I can't be bothered to read through 500 posts. Also, Tyvak, that looks AWESOME.
Hey guys there's like 2 pages left why hasn't the mass shitposting started? :v:
Damn, I reopened a cave system that I've had walled off for a few weeks now to try and finally clear it. I walled it off after I reached an impasse and lost all my gear to a creeper that somehow snuck up on me from an area I assumed I had cleared and lighted.
Man, Ninja Creepers are fucking scary. Im in my workbench at my new Arrow Whore Machine, when a creeper drops down from a cave system that had and opening directly above me. Dropped me to half a hart. Thank jesus i survived. Now im paranoid about cave systems above me more than i am usually :smithicide:
Quick tutorial on how to make infinite water springs if you don't know how to.
Holy fishes! Informative'd
Also, does anyone know how to make an air pocket, would be handy for this underwater dome.
Quick tutorial on how to make infinite water springs if you don't know how to.
I knew that. But rated informative anyway.
Also, does anyone know how to make an air pocket, would be handy for this underwater dome.
Use a door underwater
Also, does anyone know how to make an air pocket, would be handy for this underwater dome.
Place block. Remove block. You now have created a handy air pocket that would have been impossible without this highly informative guide.
Also, does anyone know how to make an air pocket, would be handy for this underwater dome.
I also want to know how to make an underwater house.
Hi!
You could place half-sphere of planks and layer it with glass, then burn the planks under it. [editline]02:48PM[/editline] Oh, shitposting started?
Use a door underwater
It works! Thanks
Also, for that infinite water guide, you can just dig 2x2, instead of 2 blocks and then 2 blocks more.
I also want to know how to make an underwater house.
That air pocket never worked for me though. Which is why I asked. You can also substitute dirt for wood and dig the dirt instead.
Hm. I've just discovered a huge cave right underneath my castle. I'm grabbing torches and pickaxes. I built a staircase down, and I went to get some more tools, I came back and discovered that Zombies were using it to get into my base.
I hope Notch makes biomes in Minecraft like Skylands.
That would most likely be very hard.
Yeah. But it'd be worth it.
All I want is Forests. big ones.
Wow this thread is nearing its end
THE END IS NIGH? OH SHIT O SHIT :derp: /caps
Was tunnelling to the bottom of the map to start a new mine system on a new world, I accidentally dropped into a huge tunnel system, chock full of ores and, from the sounds in the darkness, creatures. Had to modify my ladder to incorporate a small room with a steel door with a smaller ladder which takes me the rest of the way up my house. Not even sure if mobs can climb ladders, but i'm paranoid as fuck right now :tinfoil: EDIT: Cleared it out while I was waiting for FP to work properly in order to post this; no mob spawner and just one skeleton, so he probably spawned in the darkness. Mined the tunnels dry; over 200 coal, 70 iron and a couple bits of gold. Fairly decent.
