Um, can anyone think of a formula to work out how much notch has earned so far with the price being 9.95 euro and the percentage paypal takes off (0.29% and 0.222387 euros per sale)

You need to muliply 9.95 by .971, not .029
Right now your formula is telling how much Paypal gets, not Notch

I believe those 'cave sounds' actually signify dungeons. Try digging downwards from the area you heard it.

Mob spawners are in dungeons only to make it harder to get the the chests around them with treasure in them because they constantly spawn mobs, even in mild light.
