So I'm trying to use the X-ray program, I load up my world and it goes to the black screen, I can see an overhead map on the top right and a loading bar at the top. It loads maybe 1/10th of the way and then stops. The arrow moves around when I move the mouse and the WASD controls work, but there's just a black screen other than the HUD.

I had found 6 Diamonds in total. First 3 I made a pick-axe of, then fell into the lava and died (and lost the pickaxe), the next 2 I lost when the minecart stopped and I glitched into it when trying to get out of it, normally the stuff would stay there when I respawn and return, but this happened on a bridge over the lava, and the only object to fall off the bridge were the 2 diamonds. The last one is safely stored in my house, in a bomb-proof storage room where I am sure nothing can happen to it.
I'm telling you, those diamonds are cursed.
Also what should I do with Gold? I have like 6 blocks of solid gold stored now, and I have no idea what to do with it. Iron feels way more precious than gold.
Awesome load, over 120 coal, 34 iron, 7 gold, and 3 diamonds.
There's was more iron but my pickaxe broke before I could get them.

I spent so long digging through my world back and forth and only found one huge cave, and it's not even fully utilized yet because I haven't determined what all is in it. I did manage to find 5 diamonds though. So useful. I love this game now.
