Minecraft Thread v39 - Games

Hey, if we're still talking about achievements and their place in Minecraft, I made an achievement icon mockup thing. If there were achievements, I think they'd have to be non-specific, just things like place 1000 blocks or something. TF2 has a few counter-intuitive achievements, like one where you have to intentionally NOT heal people as a Medic, and things like that.

i don't know what's happening, i log-in on the client normally, but instead of going to the mojang logo and the game, it just stays at a black screen.

Do you know how hard I tried getting those records? A long, long time. Records would be great rewards, they are quick, bite-sized rewards that can be appreciated over and over again without ruining the game.

Hey, can someone recommend me a nice texture pack? Currently using Painterly Pack but I feel something isn't right. And I know there are a few in the OP but I can't choose.

I think that it should definably not be as heavy as what I was doing, but it should have a couple tiers. - The easy ones you can usually do in the first hour of playing. - The harder ones require a feat, not something like "get X amount of X", more like "kill a spider with a skeleton's arrow". - The more hard ones would be something like "get *lots* diamonds" and would require a lot of time, not really too much effort. - There would be the pointless, like picking 15 flowers in 5 seconds, burning 10 diamonds, and such. The harder ones would reward you with records. Records would be great prizes, as they would never break the game, like giving you a special sword would.
