I joined it at first and i was like 'Hey, looks nice!' I joined black hawks faction and it was nice to build our base, gather resources and always make plans of defeating Diamond Mangooses. They let me in, gave me a tour in their base. Then i understood that there is no PvP, no ceompeting, it is just 2 teams build! I decided that the point of playing there is fun, so i wanted to show off our nice base. I was going to be nice as they were nice to me. I was going to show our base to the guy that let me in.
The team raged at me, started hating me, no matter if i didn't even finish my trip to our base with a DM guy. I was trolled by the whole team. Next day something else happened, i will post the story i put on minecraft thread.

The whole team lied taht i was griefing and burning crap around and puddin1, a nice guy, banned me because everyone was against me. That pissed me off because i haven't doen anythign except telling out the location of a hollow cave that was near DM base and would be found in a few hours.
So guys, this server has nice admins, but they are rarely online, some people there are dickwards in both teams. But hte worst thing is that server is called PvP and it screwes the shit up. It is competing without any ability to attack, whithout any ability to compete. You need to find enemy base, but what then? You found it, but you can't steal, you can't attack and you can't destroy. Being nice and having fun is also not welcome.

The server is in a build mode if he didn't make that clear. That means everyone is supposed to keep their base a secret if they want to be successful. You were banned from the server because you were flaming in chat, grieved buildings, and told the location of the HQ. Stop crying to Facepunch Residents and get over it.
By the way the server was heavily grieved before it went private. Now that you have to be Whitelisted noone has been grieved. :) I know all the admins personally and they are good people who make fair decisions.

Er, it didn't work. All it did was lower the water level and switch some of the currents, not cause the water to become still.

someone explain double doors to me. I need two pressure pads on the inside, one button on the outside. I've tried, and every time I try, I get a door that opens when the other one closes.
I found lots of redstone and I'm not too interested in making needless paths of it to feel cool, if it just opens a door, it's kind of dumb. But, I would like to know the lighting value of redstone torches, they seem nice.If I make several will it give my place a nice red glow?

Ah, it worked now. I wasn't placing enough blocks for the game to realize that the water was shallow. Thanks for your help.

I'm back in my secret underground lair and I am mining out a large section for my wheat farm I plan to start. I mine through a large section of gravel, and I notice that every now and then something black is flashing across the bottom of my screen. I ignore it and continue digging. I open up a dark cave, it's actually more of a hole but with a perfect stair case going down it. Not very deep, but there's a light at the top so I figure it's a bit of lava. I go up the stairs and find that it's a fucking torch. At the top of a random fucking cave.
I notice that the torch is leading into a 2x2 tunnel, that looks like it's been blocked off. I go through the wall, I find nothing. The tunnel leads to nowhere.
Anyone else ever found a cave you've never explored that has a torch in it? I'm scared.
