Fucking shit piss went so far in a mine, found so much great stuff, diamonds, gold, lots of iron, brought along only diamond sword and pickaxe... misstepped and fell into lava. Sometimes I fucking hate this game.

I just fucked up my save that I've spent over 100 hours on. I discovered MineEdit, geeked out and spawned myself an infinite stack of TNT. Now in my base, which is built into a mountain, I have a designated "Blaster Pit" which is a 8x8x8 room with a 5x5 hole in the floor, which I drop TNT down to mine. I went a bit crazy and filled not just the hole but the whole fucking room with TNT. 537 blocks of TNT. After wiring my MOAB to a lever in a room at least 30 blocks away than my blaster pit, I pulled it. The explosion was way fucking bigger than I imagined, the explosion ripped through the wall to me. Had I not been wearing my Diamond armor I would have died. Soon after I see lava flowing down into the base, and I scamper quickly up the heavily damaged stairs (several blocks missing) up to my atrium, or where my atrium should have been. Instead of seeing glass and wood, I was greeted by the dark sky as I emerged from the massive crater where my base once stood. As I looked around I saw a few creepers and animals wandering around my now totaled base. The explosion had ripped through every layer of every room inside my deep mountain fortress, which was almost 20 different floors high. Where once stood a castle now lay ashes and echoes :smithicide: Fuck you MineEdit.

I might actually be done with minecraft after misstepping and losing all my stuff in the lava. I tried, I just can't find it fun again. It's not the first time that's happened, but it's the first time I lost such a great stockpile or ores and items. Yet the only thing I really lost was my time... and that time was gone regardless of what happened on the screen. It makes me feel like I've been wasting my time all along. Maybe I'll be back tomorrow, or the next day, but I dunno. The charm is gone. I know I'm wasting my time with the game, just like most games really, but most games have the decency to not throw that fact in my face.

Hdd space is so cheap.

It saved my save once already.

He could easily record the last 1000 changes made to the world, player and inventory and then just edit the save with the recorded data. He could also use the same data to simulate replays.

Any tips for growing trees? I'm building a farming section on my new base and I'm gonna have a section for trees. [img]http://cubeupload.com/files/e1edb0murf.png[/img] Is this gonna be alright or do I need water or something? Is there a way to make them grow faster? How long do they take to grow?

But two blocks (in height) - and it won't grow.
