Wow. I went into my underground base with a monster-creating cave next to it, partly filled with lava. I find lava in my house, so I take it to that cave to get rid of it. I get attacked by 3 skeletons and a zombie, I push the zombie into lava but then I was shot to death. I run down there again to get my stuff back; I get ambushed again. I tried to run away, but then I fell into the lava and burned to death a way away from it. I go down [I]again[/I]. I go to the same room for a 'run in, run out' type of thing. I go through, pick up my stuff, and get ambushed by 2 creepers. One blasts me into the other, which blasts me into the lava. I burnt to death and my items did too. In my inventory for that mess-up was everthing I mined and made. Replacing save file with an older one :suicide:

Emergency peaceful is shitty, play the game properly. Switching to peaceful immediately when you're going to die is the equivalent of using InvEdit and saying you played a legit game.

so from what i have heard, switching the game to hard makes it easier then normal because of mob amounts?

What difficulty does is it makes the mobs health higher and also makes damage done to you higher.

I was in my cave and decided to dig in a straight line for a couple hundred blocks. So I dug a 1x2 hole for some 100 blocks and ended up finding 9 diamond...

Ask me a when I first got the game what enemy I feared most, I would have said spiders and creepers. Now though, fucking skeletons. Hearing the bone rattle,... not knowing where it is... on high alert... dead silence... slowly pushing forward.. walking into the shadow to place a li-[b]THWOOMP[/b] AGUHUINDNS Heart attacks every damn time. And then they land a SECOND arrow because I jumped like I'd been electrocuted and completely threw off my view.
