My mines always become cluster fucks of tunnels and creeper spawns.

redesigned my minecart railgun... it launches now but it doesn't go very far at all any ideas?

Help! I built a nice minecart system in a cave and everytime i save and quit the entrance to the minecart system is blocked by dirt, I have to remove the dirt every time i exit and start minecraft.exe and it really annoying because i placed lots of stuff in that entrance like chests and stuff and they dissapear when the dirt some how fills up the cave. Did you save at the point in the second image? Your game might not be saving properly.

I took the second image when I started minecraft.exe again and as usual; my entrance is "flooded" by dirt.

Sometimes when a chunk is rendered, it may have a corrupt segment written into it. This corrupt segment can be generated by a multitude of things, from running out of usable RAM at a specific time to something as bad as a CPU mis-tick. If you have a level of RAM that is <512MB, this problem becomes most likely. If you own 4GB or more, you got a VERY unlucky CPU mis-tick or another problem that could cause RAM and CPU flow to both freeze at the same time during the chunk render.

Man, I cannot find any steel on this world. It's driving me nuts, I want to experiment with carts and I've got about 20 steel in 45 minutes of solid mining. Raeg.

I'm having the same problem. The trick is to have one big spree of charging into caves with only a sword and a pickaxe and loot [b]EVERYTHING[/b].

I approve of any and all craft recipes that use gold. That stuff needs more uses.

I've been playing bioshock lately and it gave me some ideas I would love to see in minecraft. One, the crossbow, but not only just the crossbow, also different arrowheads like in bioshock ( not like shocking and fire, I mean like diamond arrows will kill anything, stone will take a lot of shots to kill, etc... ). Two, Big Daddies... :ohdear: ( just kidding. ) Two, I would love a submarine type of vehicle added.
