In game it shows black. Only shows the trasparency on the preview. Ingame any places that are transparent on it will show up black.
Also just cause I feel like it.

I envy you. I spent an hour generating maps last night, and didnt find a single one I liked.
Crazy I know, but I dont like playing on simple looking maps. Just kills my fun. Really enjoy having grand vistas to look at.

Notch is feeling very tired and decided to invest some time on an island in the Maldives for the next 5 months in which he will sunbathe, waterbathe, chocolatecreambathe, among other things involving being surrounded by liquid at all times.
He will then return and write a book about said vacation and how he missed on 5 months of awesome games, he will not be able to code because he will have a sunburn on his left foot, which is not totally irrelevant because Notch actually codes with his feet, he will instead spend the following 8 weeks after his vacation playing with all the videogames that were released in that 5 month period because thankfully he actually uses his hands for everything else other than coding.
8 weeks later, 3 secret friday updates will be released, one on sunday of week 1, another on saturday of week 2 and finally one on wednesday of week 3. The update notes are as follows:
Update 1:
- Added biomes!
Update 2:
- Removed biomes because they were breaking everything :(
- Added Magic/Runes!
Update 3:
- Removed Magic because it was overpowered, I'll have to work on it some more.
- Added roosters to go with the chickens.
- You can now throw eggs.
He will then become sick just after the third update and will need to rest for a few more days, after which he'll go on a vacation to...
