Strange, I've never had any problems. Making me doubt it's your system being 64 bit that's causing it. I guess you've tried Googling it?

I'm just gonna ask this. Does anyone have some spare money? There is just no way I can buy Minecraft. It's just really the greatest game, and I can't buy it.

I don't have it either, I just have the client from the free weekend, playing offline so I don't have to update and buy. I'll probably buy it tomorrow though.
