Program note: I'm not working any more tonight, because I'm waiting on Minecraft updates to fix tomorrow, so assuming no Terraria updates come out, I'll be ready to work on it more later. I'm curious as to what happens if I call functions from the world generator, like spawning hell forges. Would be interesting to have some command subset that allowed spawning of all that.

Before I head off, if you reply to this post with server side stuff you want, I'll try to implement those features top priority. Until I reverse engineer the way the server and the client communicate, I can't really stop stuff from happening, so more insight there would be good. I really want to work on implementing the API, but I'm worried about a couple things that are major, such as longevity. I'm curious as to what they implement in the future, especially if a server command update rolls around with kick and ban built in. Everything I code is based on demand, so if suddenly they add the major things, I probably won't mess around with it as much.

I'll have to try again tomorrow or something when the updates are done.

If they had obfuscated the code, it would have taken a lot longer for anything to actually happen. that's happened on a friends map. i use it to easily gather hellstone where no imps or bone serpents can spawn
TerrariaAPI updated. Fox-Face added some features to TrainerPlugin. Added a bunch of draw hooks along with an Initialize/LoadContent hook. The minimapplugin is not included with the binary as I haven't optimized it and made it pretty. It is in the repo so you can check it out or build it yourself if you want. Maybe I'm just retarded but I don't know how to work that API shenanigans. Tossed it into my terraria folder and started it up with the exe but nothing seems different.
