The ban system floods the buffer that they connect to, so it just looks like they've crashed.

It just says "lost connection", and after that, attempting to join just gets stuck at some point during the connection process (leaving me still able to just cancel).

Can anyone else not open up chests?

Like how my Arms Dealer and Demolitionist both refuse to spawn despite me having a musket plus bombs, or how earlier it was the Dryad? Maybe some command that would force them to spawn for example?

I'm having this really shitey issue which is stopping me from connecting to online, the error message starts like 'A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because' and then goes off the page. Has anyone else had that issue?

How should I go about fighting skeletron? I'm fairly well equipped, full set of nightmare armor, nightmare tools and molten hamaxe. Phaseblade and supply of health potions. Am I well enough to fight him?

They don't do enough damage to really be a problem, and focusing on them just prolongs the fight unnecessarily. The only time Skeletron can really fuck you up is when he does the spinning head thing, so it's important to kill him as fast as possible so he does that as few times as possible.

I used blade of grass, because of the range.

Make a hammer if you don't have one, and use it on the bottom right wood block (that's the one where the dirt wall is behind).

I can't even join my own servers, it says 'no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it' damn this infernal game!
