Is there any way to get the X, Y positions of other players?

Does anyone have more information on meteorites then whats on the wiki? I'm mostly looking to know how long they take to come down and do you need to fully mine one before breaking the next orb for the next meteor? I spawned two small worlds, and destroyed all the shadow orbs in one go. I got one meteor a piece and haven't seen another in about 10 in game days. Is there something I'm missing?

Do we have any update dates?

They might be random.

They grow from the special grass that grows on the mud in the underground jungle.

I've never seen any big shrooms but once on a server. :C

Not only would you have to remove the corrupted grass (which can spread into caves aswell), you'll also need to remove all trace of ebonstone in the game which would take AGES.
