Terraria Megathread V3 - Wheres that map drawer program again? - Games

game is awfully boring now i think i'll wait for a lot of new content to play again

It's too bad that the one thing a game can't recreate, is the confusion of starting the game. The first time I played terraria, I spawned with a pit to my left and right, and had no idea what to do, so once I fell into the darkness, I started a new map since I had no idea what on earth to do or how to get out. I held mouse1, nothing happened. I didn't even know that you actually have to click on a block to remove it. I was proud of the first house I built, an 8x8 wooden box with a stone background wall and 2 doors, which I barricaded because I was afraid of zombies. I didn't know there even were any bosses, dungeon, underground jungle, floating islands, or any of that. And if I'd start a new game now, I'd just end up quickly building a 6-room house, getting materials to build a furnace/anvil, and I'd have raided the dungeon and underground jungle before the end of the day.

Does deleting a world remove all the items a character got from it?

Are big multiplayer servers worth it? My and my mate just burned through this game; all that's left is Hellstone armor and weapons. We're somewhat seriously bored now. Is the game that much more insane if you grab, say, eight people and all rush around?
