I just spent all my money making the star cannon. It's not useful at all right now because I don't have max mana yet so I'm using all my stars but it is fun as hell.

Okay, what you are saying that you are either encountering the Devourers or just a plain worm, if its a devourer. Why are you in the corruption zone? Unless you're talkin about bone serpents. Which I highly doubt, since you can't even take on a devourer. Honestly, you need to explore more and find some life crystals. This isn't a hold your hand kinda game, if you can't get past something that means to explore more, find better equipment then tackle it. I was wondering why my friend hadn't been on in a few days, then I look and see that he actually removed me after I accidentally lost him in the underground jungle and he died. In a game. I never realized people took this game so seriously.

I don't want it to be. I was just hoping to find better equipment easily without going so deep into the ground that I die without having a chance to fight. Finally beat skeletron on my own. (Had meteorite chestplate and leggins, hellstone helmet. Flaming boomerang thingy) I then found a blue moon and muramasa in the dungeon.

Downloading the map takes ages and when its done I'm suck at "Complete!" for a minute, then I get in and get disconnected almost instantly.
