Quick question: when you use tnt, does your character throw it or drop it? Wondering how close I have to get to the bottom of the chasm in my corruption to break the shadow orb free.

Throw, but I think the timer on the dynamite isn't long enough to reach the bottom of a chasm from the top, it will explode in midair

Looks like alot of fun for a game I would normally have no interest in (2D sidescroller) but it has all the aspects of a game I would want to play (RPG elements)

So on my map I made a sky walkway that allows me to run from one side of my map to the other at night and collect stars without having to jump and uses speed accessories. Well, a meteor just landed and I thought it would be a good idea to follow this walkway until I found a hole and jump down and collect the ores.
well, I only found 3 ores :(. Looked at map view and nothing was changed except for the 3 spots were I collected the ore.

You don't need that many Obsidian Skulls. I mean, you don't even have a Lucky Horseshoe.

Yeah, the Meteor thing happened with me too, think it bugs if it hits a sky platform.

Ya'll are jealous of my irrigation system that tunnels water from surface and undergound lakes to hell's lava.

watching my friend play terreria on his computer and it's marginally smoother and better playing than mine, and we have basically the same computer (i have a phenom x2 and a 5770)
even with frame skip on and off i get around 40fps, but that's with major slowdowns and the game just feels sluggish and annoying after playing it crisp and fast
does anyone else have this probablem or know what it could be?
