My Documents or Documents\My Games\Terraria, then a folder with world in its name.

I've got 60s for the merchant and I managed to get 9 bombs (I don't actually know where I got them, maybe they were in some jars).

Move the tables to the wall, if still nothing hapends make the rooms bigger.

I believe your issue may be on the size of the rooms. Try putting the tables against the wall and making the rooms stretch a few more blocks and you shouldn't have an issue.

You're supposed to have beds (although they have spawned without them before).

Pretty sure the Guide tells you that you're supposed to have beds, they do spawn without them, but in my experience they act weird without one (don't return to their rooms at night and such). Also you know if you have a bed, table, chair, and torch that the room is for sure big enough for it to work properly.

Well, I need another meteor, for some more meteor armour, So far I only got Greaves and a Phaseblade out of one, and some ammo for my musket. Also, I need to get better equipment, So I guess it might be time to summon Eye of Cthulhu for my first time...

You should be just fine if you have a good amount of shurikens. Just make sure one doesn't show up right after you summon one like I did. -__-
