I don't know why some people didn't buy this because they thought it would be like Minecraft. You seriously shouldn't judge a book by its cover like that, because they are nothing alike. Okay, so you can break blocks and gather resources. Minecraft stole that from Infiniminer. But Terraria promotes exploration and dungeon diving. Minecraft dungeons are nothing like Terraria. Terraria is also MUCH harder, which I wish hard mode on Minecraft was like. It took me HOURS to even feel safe going into caves on my first character, and it wasn't tedious gathering the resources. It was fun because as I was preparing myself to go deeper I was discovering weapons, getting stronger and gaining NPCs. Minecraft doesn't have all of that so it has to be more friendly when allowing you to go cave diving. Minecraft is about building, Terraria is about adventuring and exploring (and building if you want to).

By the way, has anybody heard about news on updates? I literally have everything there is to obtain in the game and hundreds and hundreds of resources for use if I get bored and want to make an alt. If this game is updated constantly I will play it so much.

if it's your own server on your network you can't use that, you have to use the server's network ip which you can find out by typing ipconfig in the command line, it has the format of 192.168.0.*.*
