Holy shit. I just spent literally over four hours in the Jungle killing Hornets and Man Eaters. I got three pairs of pants, a helmet and the only chest piece I got fell into lava when the hornet died.
Never got 1 goblin army and ive basically got the best gear ingame.
Meh.

I had trouble getting the chest piece too. Sucks for you it dropped into the lava.
Found the 2nd army of goblins, they'd fell into a cave system. Slaughtered them all, And no rocket boots. Just a load of old spiky balls.
i killed the eater of worlds
and got 1 shadow greaves
good thing the last orb gave me a ball of hurt or i will have failed
i lost a Vilethorn doto my lasyness
also got a Musket
I wonder if spiders are going to make it in, as there are cobwebs?
Why are people on about a content update today BTW? Is there any evidence for this at all?
Just fought and killed Eater of Worlds inside a chasm, because he kept on attacking me, I couldn't get to the surface, so I just killed him with my ball o' hurt and got a shadow helmet. (and a ton of demonite ore)
Then I fought skeletron during a blood moon with minimal potions and forgot to change my helmet to my new shadow helmet, got him down to almost half health (his head) then I ran out of potions, long story short, I died.
All this happened when I didn't even encounter the eye of cthulhu.

Which one should I scrap to equip Cobalt Shield? I have full meteorite armor and I am trying to go for the Cobalt one (even less mana usage and more defense)

I hope not, well I do. I always scare the shit out of myself when one of those eight legged monsters jump me to rape me in every hole. But it would make the game more "exciting" and mabye a bit more difficult.

Yeah, most of the monster are "annoying" instead of "challenging".
I wonder when a new patch will be released with some new content

Rocket Boots, 1x band of starpower, Obsidian Skull, Cobalt Shield, Cloud In a Bottle (or lucky horseshoe?)
