I have never had a platinum coin and I have end-game equipment-ish. I store all my gold coins in a chest though

Is Full shadow armour and a flamearang/phaseblade combination gonna be enough to beat Skeletron?[/QUOTE] I would try getting a Ball 'o hurt to swing at him(it does multiples of damage against him like the eater of worlds), try getting a handgun and some meteor bullets(get a handgun by running into the dungeon at night and plucking it from a chest. I killed skeletron personally by using the handgun with meteor bullets because they do a plentiful of damage(about 18 I think) against him, and the handgun fires horribly fast.

Is vilethorn good against Eye of Cthulhu? I can spam it forever because meteorite armor.

Just got 233 Meteorite Ore, made 39 bars...Can't decide between a Hamaxe or Phaseblade... :X ... As I was typing this I clicked onto the game without looking and clicked on the Hamaxe. Guess I don't have a choice anymore.

Okay, After a slight miscalculation (went left, not right), I have ended up on the opposite end of the world from the Dungeon. So i'm making the best of it, and going into the Underground Jungle.
