fire imps still spawn even if every hellstone piece is destroyed, it's their natural habitat and you can't cut it down because I'm a tree-hugger

If you're trying to join your own server, it's because something like Hamachi is overriding it.

Glowing Mushrooms grow on the stone layer of underground. You know the area where the background goes from dirt to an almost seashell like pattern? Search near the middle-bottom of that. I'd say closer to lava the better.
