I hate how everything that moves tries to kill you except humans. I'd love some passive monsters/animals.
Wouldn't mind some rabbits wandering about. Or maybe mysterious merchants only available to find during the night, wandering the world? Also, i want bigger pockets of water with seacreatures. Demonsharks, maybe? :v:

Is it just me or now that Terraria is out, no one seems to care about Pbat anymore? I never did in the first place, he was way too annoying.
trading anything
want a falling star for all the hellstone shit?
I are trading. Considering all offers that are within reason.
I hate how everything that moves tries to kill you except humans. I'd love some passive monsters/animals.
Actually, all non-underground slimes just spawn and hop toward and past you. Once you attack a slime, it will rage and become vengeful, stalking you until either you or the slime dies.
I know this has been probably posted before and maybe even I posted it but I'm really interested what will they add.
2. Biomes lacking content. The Desert and Floating Island biomes are present but have little to no features in this build. What you can Expect : We will be adding content to these two biomes over the next few weeks
[editline]24th May 2011[/editline] And deserts are few blocks long. What could they add? Palm trees? [editline]24th May 2011[/editline] I'm actually ok with that...
I made a new character and world. First floating island had a building made completely out of silver. Inside the chest I found a lucky horseshoe, 6 silver bars. I mined a total of 199 silver ore and 52 gold ore. :buddy:
I hope devs release some sort of simple SDK to at least add more simple stuff. I like construction more, wouldn't mind lots of furniture and lots of new and different tiles. Also wouldn't mind infinite map :v: :v:
According the Something Awful thread, the code is a bit of a mess and it's pretty hard (or annoying) to add things.
the Terraria codebase is really gross. Adding one item required me to change code in 10+ locations in three classes.

I hate how everything that moves tries to kill you except humans. I'd love some passive monsters/animals.
Yea, they lied to us. Where's the BUNNY THEY HAVE ON THE TITLE!?!?!? It's cute... I want to make a zoo.
trading anything
Ill trade you 50 hellstone bars for that acorn. Will throw in another 10 for them sunflowers.
According the Something Awful thread, the code is a bit of a mess and it's pretty hard (or annoying) to add things.
Like minecrafts? :v:
Yea, they lied to us. Where's the BUNNY THEY HAVE ON THE TITLE!?!?!? It's cute... I want to make a zoo.
OH MY GOD. I never saw that guy before. That's awesome.
okay this is a bit unrelated since hes not playing terraria in this video but pbats a real wuss
Hahahahahahahahahahah, I find it kinda funny. And not him being a wuss at all. There are just some people who can't handle any spicy things. Although, Tabasco is not hot at all....
Ill trade you 50 hellstone bars for that acorn. Will throw in another 10 for them sunflowers.
What.
What weapon do you guys generally use? Sunfury for the win, imo.
Blue moon and fiery greatsword. I'll be replacing the blue moon with a sunfury as soon as I can get one.
Try wasabi next time.
According the Something Awful thread, the code is a bit of a mess and it's pretty hard (or annoying) to add things.
I guarantee you Redigit did that on purpose just to make it a pain for people who decompile the game, seeing how they don't want it decompiled at all. People just assume the code is supposed to be neat and tidy for everyone. I bet Redigit has the whole thing down to a T where it's easy for him to put things in.
Any word on a updated mapviewer?

Okay, I think I'll admit it. I'm running out of room ideas. And this, was just a bad idea from the start.
What.
Im serious.

Pretty bloated. they're talking about it here http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3412044&pagenumber=115
I found quite easy way of finding the underground jungle. All you need is a stopwatch of some kind. 1. Start from spawn and run all the way to the dungeon while timing yourself on how long it takes. 2. Get back to spawn and run the opposite direction of the dungeon, give or take some seconds from the time depending on the general terrain of the direction you are running. 3. When you have hit about the same time it took you to get to the dungeon, stop and dig straight down. 4. After some digging you will hit the jungle. 5. Enjoy. Worked wonders for me.
It's not to do with the obfuscation, it's just coded kinda badly.
It's not really coded badly unless there's a shit load of bugs and such. Minecraft is an example of this. If it works for them, then it's good. They don't give a shit what people think because they aren't supposed to take it apart anyway.(not that I'm against it myself)
What's worth getting? Phoenix blaster or starcannon?

It could possibly bite them in the ass in the future when it comes to adding something big.
What's worth getting? Phoenix blaster or starcannon?
Phoenix Blaster, MUCH more practical.
What's worth getting? Phoenix blaster or starcannon?
Phoenix Blaster is a lot more economic than the star cannon, but the star cannon makes all bosses go easy mode.
I have phoenix blaster, I was just wondering if I should get starcannon because I practically beat almost everything in the game
Just because it works for them doesn't mean it's not coded badly. It could possibly bite them in the ass in the future when it comes to adding something big.
Yeah, true. Hadn't thought of it that way.
