Watch commentaries from ColdTurkey and LeagueofLegendscommentaries They give you a general idea how to play, not to in depth. If you really want to get in to the game, look up the wiki and read up every champions skill set. Then you'll know what each one does and how to deal with them somewhat.

Also I think Teemo is the main "make newbs think they're good" champ. Teemo is actaully harder to stay alive with.

I saw that Shurelia thread. If Phreak or Guinsoo (basically, any male player, Riot staff or otherwise) did that, the whole forums would bitch at them. But since Shurelia loses a game for her team, it's ok because she's Shurelia and a girl.

Just had first game with Alistar. I save Jax from 3 enemies, he has <100 HP. He GOES BACK AND TRIES TO KILL THEM. As explained in the thread, if no one is fighting and no one pushing, why engage? Why not just farm? If you're going to be sarcastic about something you want done from a person, you're best off saying "dont do it". I would've done the same thing. Besides, practice games are a joke I've never done them and never will everytime I try to do it with friends entire team ragequits because they don't know how to deal with a fed champ/think it's a real game and trash talk people for sucking

I hope normal games are somewhat competetive. I'm level 22 and I can't rank solo queue and my friends aren't always on, and I doubt i am the only one like this. I mean, I know they won't be like ranked, but I hope they don't become total goof-off sessions. Ideally, they'll be like social playlists in Halo. The main goal is fun, but you still try to win.

Junglers are terrible I have yet to see a good jungler so until I do I will assume any every one I play with are bad

Just stacking DPS is pretty good choice, but I don't know any more about Urgot.
