here's my shen build: doran's shield + hp pot -> merc's treads -> aegis of the legion -> thornmail or force of nature, depending on the enemy team -> get whichever item you didn't get last time -> sunfire cape -> whatever you want from this point on doran's shield is good early game and the hp pot will help you lane longer. merc's treads should be obvious. i used to get leviathan after merc's but lately, i've steered clear from it unless i'm doing really well. besides, aegis is more useful for the team. thornmail and force of nature should be self explanatory. sunfire cape to finish it all off. frozen heart might be ok, but i really hate wasted stats. i grab ghost and upgraded exhaust. exhaust is really overlooked because of ignite, and i'm usually the only one on my team that has it. it's really useful early game, for getting kills, as well as ganks. it also works mid-late game because you can exhaust their carry, in team fights. i really shouldn't have to tell you the skill order

You should only have the Heart of Gold for like 10 mins and then, it would only make you 120 gold. [editline]05:30PM[/editline] For Critplank, the Avarice is acceptable cause he really needs the crit from it and he is built to roll in the money so he can get that Infinity Edge. Anyways, all the gp/10 are pretty horrible.

AP Poppy and AS Kayle make sense Anyway I get my ass kicked in TT. There was this one fed Eve with like 55 armor but no armor items and she only took like 50 damage from our turrets. She just kept on diving and killed our Jax over and over. When I asked my team how does she have 55 armor she responded with "how?" in all chat. What the fuck. That reminded me of the Ashe with 73 armor that only took like 50 damage from our turrets as well.

Why not? He can't poke you to death cause your shield is always up so one the advantage of him always sending mid back for health is gone. And Siphon of destruction just wrecks him slowly.

On the flip side, Mordekaiser can't really deny Vlad minion kills that hard. You shouldn't be going for the other mid anyways, just farm minions like a mofo

Every good mordekaiser packs an ignite. So mordekaiser got 4 spells that damage Vlad while he is in pool 2 of them need to be applied before pool tho. and if he pools he just brings himself closer to death.
