people on /v/ are assholes and farm em with multiple accounts, they weren't slowed down now cause they already had all the accounts they needed.

I've come to the conclusion that Sona is the most OP champion I have come across. It was me as Twitch and Shen in a lane vs Sona and Teemo. Sona just by herself forced us to hug towers and keep us from farming singlehandedly. With her passive she could knock 1/4 of our health down and one of her spells could hit us from way outside tower range and even when I was invisible, harassing is not an option because of the fact that I can't get close without being raped, she could hit me while I was close and she could easily heal herself. Not to mention the Teemo poison/mushrooms.

Sona is rape face for the first 15 minutes, then her usefulness dwindles down to manageable levels. ie stay frosty first 15 minutes and destroy her the next.

Yea but that pretty much shuts out a carry as they are going to be outfarmed even compared to the other lanes.

Don't put your carry in the Sona lane.
