You miss the aspect of fun, and replace it with the arrogance of retardation.

i played the hero in ACID's avatar yesterday, im really new to Dota stlye games, so with it i just bought speed boots, and went for the weapon with the snare and alot of crit stuff Aaand i've never done so well, im pretty sure i racked up 22 kills by coordinating with my teammates, i took a screenshot, will have to find it when i get home.

Heroes of Newerth [HoN] is simply way better than LoL in my opinion. LoL's graphics are cartoony and childish, the community is full of 9 year old kiddies, the gameplay has been altered and sucks compared to DotA and Heroes of Newerth, the summoner leveling system is retarded (players who have played longer than others shouldnt get an advantage over newcomers in any way except for skills), mages scale with the spell damage increase items when they should be early-game oriented and the gameplay feels akward overall compared to HoN. Edit: Also why does the image in the OP say that the game is 100% free? Also HoN DOES feel and play very differently to LoL, not necessarily meaning HoN is superior or vice versa. There are tanks, assassins, fighters and mages. I too play HoN and LoL, they are too different to compete for my time. HoN has a little bit more micro required (denies, blocking, a lot more skills based on movement/direct targeting), but it is not better for it, just different.

To be honest I really hate denies in HoN, can ruin a match if someone constantly focuses only on denying, but as said before, both games have good/bad points. But they both warrant attention as two separate games, not just under the DOTA-like headings. And if you come here to solely talk about HoN or your OPINIONS about what is better, just leave and find the old HoN thread.
