Um sunfire garen is like the only way to go how is that the worst he's ever seen? Also I've won a ranked game 4v5, it's nothing impressive on the 4 player side it's more like absolute and utter fail on the 5 player side.

There's few other viable builds, sunfire Garen is just easiest.
DPS garen is viable, for example Tabi-Frozen Mallet-Phantom Dancer / IE-Atma-Sunfire
IE and PD can be changed, depending on situation.

My buddy is ashe, and he needs a good build. He actually had zerkers till I told him to sell them and get mercs or swiftness. so, yeah, can you tell me a good build for ashe that i can give to him?
Stack damage, not attack speed. Don't buy malady. A good build would be start with meki pendant (turn into chalice eventually) if you have no mana runes, otherwise buy a mana or hp crystal. Build an emblem of valor or catalyst, blood thirster, last whisper, use mana/hp crystal for banshees, infinity edge.

Well look at the first video I posted and then look for a a champion that interests you.
Then look them up on leaguecraft.com
or
go on youtube and just type in league of legends "character name here" and watch commentaries. Those will give you an idea on how to play them.
Always try stuff in practice games before in normal/ranked. Look for "lvl 1-10" games.

And you will really want to play with people you know. The bad teammates you are going to play with will make you want to forget about the game. Don't be an ass in games and talk to them after the game is over. Sometimes they might wanna play some more games with you.

turn into LW + boots

ATK etc
ATK etc
Alternatively, you can start with a sapphire crystal and build a catalyst first before getting LW if you're not assed enough to conserve mana.
