Usually for my 0/21/1 build for Yi I buy berserker's grieves then just stack Malady.

I always go either cloth and 5 health pots or long sword and 1 health pot. Build into mandreds. Never get zerks on him- hes far too vunerable to being focused one shot and they don't benefit him a huge amount anyway- either go ninja or merc. Infinity its ok but without those cloaks you won't crit very often- I prefer going Thirster or BC. Oh and finish with defence items like GA and/or Banshees. well he builds sentries and i think he throws wrenches that's about it

He's good defensively and he's a good pusher, but as far as player killing, his turrets are nowhere near as powerful as engie's are in TF2.
