I hope they fix cleanse so that I can counter exhaust. I hate being Twitch and just getting blinded and slowed and not being able to counter it.

cleanse removes the slow aspect of exhaust.

There were a lot of melee guys who relied on cleanse before it was nerfed. Why does it not remove blinds is mainly what I wonder. Although the fact that it could remove Morde's ult was stupid (wait, isn't that what it did or am I just misinformed)
