Facepunch Studios Starcraft 2 Open Tournament (EU/NA) - Tournament started - Games

Amateur tournaments are kind of dumb, everyone watches replays of good players and just copies their builds- which isn't how you go about playing. You have to be pragmatic, learn to transition. Playing that way is similar to trying to teach yourself to be a cook by learning a bunch of recipes; it doesn't work. Instead, you learn techniques so you can create a few thousand of these recipes (builds).

And he only has one post and hasn't been on for the past 5 days, so for some reason I doubt he is coming back. And me and Distant were going to 1v1 but he just went offline as I was choosing the map. Oh well they got a week

How do I specify which map I am vetoing? Edit: I guess I don't have to until the single elimination.

Ok played against vortak and won. Distant is not coming back, he has not been online in forever. And odds are he won't win against me. I've tried to contact him multiple times.

Alkor says he'll be on today (sunday), but I haven't been able to contact the other two. Except for a period from 3pm-now CST, I've been on constantly since the tournament has started so it isn't me that is stopping the games from being played.

Not sure what his status is at the moment since I haven't seen him online since.

Woah, what's the big issue here guys? You have an entire week to play the games! Let the other players attempt to show up at least. And please make it clear when you do tourney games as well. I can't really know what you guys say outside of the game, so if you wanna avoid issues like this in the future just drop a message in-game to confirm it. As for Alkor, him and I were both chilling at the same house late last night, so that's why he wasn't online. EDIT: repeating this again because some people haven't seen it: Just play the maps I mentioned above in any order. No it doesn't matter if you don't play them all, but try to.
