The first mission is HARD your first time round. But after a while you really get into the rhythm of things and its just bliss from there on.
I didn't find it that hard. (medium difficulty, I went in with guns blazing)
christ this game is awesome I can't believe I've not played it before
Shotgun looks amazing and awful at the same time. Amazing because I love shotguns in FPS games, especially double-barreled. Awful because I can't tell if it fits the art style, it looks slightly blocky, and I probably won't use many guns anyways.

Or at least for my first playthrough.

occam's razor; just assume that part of adam's backstory is that he likes antique stuff
would sort of fit in to the whole renaissance thing too now that I think on it
I beat Deus Ex today and started Invisible War... I don't think I'll be able to complete it. It seems so dumbed down and clunky. I don't like it so far.
And apparently I can't hack computers now because it's a biomod and takes up the same as cloaking?
I once gotten far in Deus Ex but didn't beaten it. I try playing on the PC version and still can't proceed due to the fact that I died and there is no autosave feature made me rage-uninstalled. I won't play it again... Deus Ex Invisible War I can't get into.
I don't know about it, but it look's good so far... I'll might try this out.

Its one of those games where you gotta learn to quick save.
Its one of those games where you gotta learn to quick save.
The first mission made me rage so much because of all the stealth kills you gotta do, but the shitty IA detects you all the time when you are too close, and you gotta be almost sticked to the enemy to perform a one hit takedown with a low low-tech skill.
This game looks fucking incredible. Definitely looking forward to this, considering I played and beat Deus Ex 1 multiple times with multiple different character setups. Haven't played Invisible War, but I guess that's what I'm going to be doing today after I get home :D

Same as America, Gamestop/Ebgames
Is it possible to get all pre order weps in Denmark?
For those confused about pre-order items in both the USA and Europe:

The clever marketing is working already on this one...

the first Deus Ex is one of my all time favorite games.
The marketing is irrelevant
Mh, I am getting sceptical about human revolution. All the fancy extra Items, third person showing
off fancy combat animations and that take-cover-behind-stuff-all-the-time trend. I really hope they
don't forget to focus on what made deus ex so great: An interesting story, big environments to explore
and find side missions in, differend approaches for the quests, all the variety in the locations you visit...
I have my fingers crossed for human revolution, but I begin to question if the series is in the right hands

Oh and a link for the theme from the Sarif Industries site. It's confirmed to be an ambient track in-game.

Why can't I get the Deus Ex Facebook page to load?
Right question.
Deus Ex GOTY is 99 cents on GFWL right now. Should I waste another however many points on this?
Well it's a fantastic game, but GFWL is very ehhhhh so that's a tough decision.
Why can't I get the Deus Ex Facebook page to load?
Gotta log in I think, not really any info on there anyway.
Twitter says wallpapers released tomorrow.
I'm confused, does the Augmentation Edition include what the other editions give? (For US)
IIRC it includes BOTH preorder packs.

It's cheaper than it was on Steam recently, and that was pretty damn cheap already, so it's surely a good deal. You'll have to decide for yourself if you're willing to put up with GFWL.
