I want that soundtrack that plays there at the end.
He's not the best speaker ever. They should've got the lead writer to do it she's way better.
Ditto on the soundtrack.
Bit late but this is on David Anfossi's twitter:
"Playtests in progress: everything is going well! One of the gamers just reached the half of the game after app 25 hours"
Very interesting.
Any other saves? I know its harsh but its the safest way.
Well, I mostly use quicksave, so all other saves are quite a while back.
What are the less safe ways?

Probably ghosting to a level changer or force-loading the next level.
I use quicksaves a lot too, usually just do a normal save at the start of a new area.

Half the game after 25 hours? Unless they're horrible then the 30 hours was dead wrong and this is more like 50-60. I am excited.

Tester must be taking his time and exploring every section of the game, reading everything etc.
Tester must be taking his time and exploring every section of the game, reading everything etc.
Well they said exploring the game heavily would make the entire game amount to 30 hours.

They mean doing all the missions and side missions. Not sure if they counted reading up on things, talking to everyone etc.

Would it be possible to restart the current level? After all, I haven't done that much in it yet...

Load up your save then load the level if you can. If it doesn't work I'm not sure what you can do.
Should be: open 08_NYC_Street
You better be able to destroy wooden doors in human revolution, just like in Dx

But there won't be wooden doors as it's the future.
Wait... :psyduck:

Renaissance themed... wooden doors highly appreciated.
Probably been pointed out (Can't be arsed to read through 20 somethin' pages) maybe it's just me but Adam looks really Similar to Paul Denton.

Yeah a slight bit, but I doubt they will come up with another [sp]clone/genetically engineered[/sp] story in this one. Maybe just because his look seems familiar and hardcore fans will like, at least I think they come up with a great main character.
All main Deus Ex characters need to have trench coats and sunglasses, it's just a general rule.

Don't forget a deep, pack a day voice.
Are you serious? The endings are very similar to the first game. Also the [sp]Illuminati ending was much better in DE1, they didn't look like dictators.[/sp]
Even with as many morally gray choices the first had you were still against MJ12 and Bob Page no matter what, those who showed up red stayed red until they died.

I'm on my first playthrough of DX1, and I think I accidentally broke a sequence somehow
it ended up in me having to destroy the nanoconstructor in the versalife building twice :psyduck:

I usually always end up having the "get the dragons tooth sword and bring it back to tong" objective appear on my objectives screen for the rest of the game. Its not a game breaker, hopefully yours isn't either.
My cyberpunk wetdream has become a reality.
Also i dislike the preordering and getting extra guns/ missions. i find it cheeky, but what the hell i can only preorder one...
Deus Ex doesn't recognize my CD, fuck
Deus Ex doesn't recognize my CD, fuck
D'oh, the path needs to be set inside an ini. Probably a letter of the drive changed where the installer was running on.
[editline]25th December 2010[/editline]
Easy to fix.
Yeah I've done all of that, and it worked earlier today. Got a crack for it, fuck swapping CDs anyway.
Yeah I've done all of that, and it worked earlier today. Got a crack for it, fuck swapping CDs anyway.
I never even thought a crack for Deus Ex existed
Just open DeusEx.ini, find "CdPath=E:" or something like that and delete the drive letter so it's just "CdPath="
Best safeguard ever

Yeah, mine just says "exit the versalife building through the underground tunnel" or whatever it is, even though I'm back in Hell's Kitchen now
also at one point in the luminous path compound one of the mooks told me to talk to tong, then I talked to tong, who told me to fuck off back to the versalife building to do the thing I just did
then I talked to alex jacobson down below, who seemed normal
PC Gamer January had a small article. Nothing much new just talks about praxis points/augs, grid inventory and health regen (specifically mentions that regen alone won't be enough to get through a heavy firefight so you will need consumables and there are plenty of those).
Slates release for mid 2011 so April is probably their target date.

Well, looks like Crysis 2 will hold me out until then, depending on whether or not Portal 2 comes out first.
