I hope the 'Deus Ex' difficulty disables health regeneration, or at least make it disable-able through the options menu.
Something tells me the Art Director based Adam Jensen on himself.
The guy who was drawing Jensen initially used the Art Director for a reference pose but he ended up basing Adam partly off him. That or rummage for dumb amounts of health consumables.
Hopefully the health regen won't be too bad. Okay wow this playthrough is really showing me why fans don't like Invisible Wars. [sp]what the fuck why are there aliens working for JC?[/sp]
[sp]but weren't the aliens in the original unintelligent?p[/sp]
I just thought that they were a genetic experiment that resembled Grays.
I hope the 'Deus Ex' difficulty disables health regeneration, or at least make it disable-able through the options menu.
If not, I doubt it would be difficult to mod in a "bleeding" effect (for lack of a better word) which deals constant damage over time to counteract the health regen
[sp]but weren't the aliens in the original unintelligent?p[/sp]
[sp]Its supposed to be something to do with JC merging with Helios. Probably taught them how to talk.[/sp] Haven't got the comic yet. Either later today or tomorrow i guess.
Is the comic available retail or only online?
Is the comic available retail or only online?
Both. I checked forbidden planet and it says order before 10th so it might be pushed back. order still in processing too. Made a graph to better represent this:
Duration as in how long it takes to fill up how much?
Duration as in how long it takes to fill up how much?
Without knowing the rate of regeneration and whether it differs depending on difficulty, we cannot know.
Maybe delay (when last damage taken) until it starts regenerating? Duration is how long it takes to fully re-heal, which is the same no matter how much health you have.
I'm guessing Delay before it starts then duration is how long until it fills up. Hopefully the enemies do actually flank fast enough to keep you on your toes.
Maybe delay (when last damage taken) until it starts regenerating? (i.e. if you get injured to 1% health, it would regenerate for 25 seconds on medium difficulty up to say, 46%, then stop regenerating)

By the end of 30 seconds most gunfights should be over so I am totally fine with that.
The problem with regenerating health though is that it negates mistakes. I mean sure Deus Ex seems to handle it well, but that still means that after the battle you don't have lowered health and you can continue easily instead of having to be cautious every step of the way. I think the best option is just to have the option to disable it in the hardest difficulties or something and you can have the best of both worlds.

Obviously you'll still be cautious even with full health, these enemies aren't daft and they seem to come in pretty heavy force if you walk right in or trip alarms. Interesting tweet:
@DavidAnfossi I hope you will keep the hive barman with the gun in his face. It was so futuristic that way hahah :P
http://twitter.com/Mr_Smith666/status/35475371835006976 Pretty funny bug if you think about it. Just hope there's only a few cosmetic bugs if any and no game breakers when its out.
Skul-gun eh
Started playing invisible war today/tonight seem like breaking into homes gets security up your ass. I had to get that thing on the objective and then guards came into the room and started blazing guns at me.
The environment alone wants me to buy it.
I've still got Invisible War installed on my laptop. It's the only thing that kept me sane during my week without internet.

So I've had Deus ex 1 & 2 on steam for over a year and ive never touched them, What exactly are the games about and what kind of style is the games other than FPS?
So I've had Deus ex 1 & 2 on steam for over a year and ive never touched them, What exactly are the games about and what kind of style is the games other than FPS?
I would say that the first Deus Ex game is a multi-layered action-RPG, which focuses on conspiracies that surround governments. The game is set in the year 2052, though the technology in that game will look quite limited in scope if you play it in this time period. The game is primarily about player choice, and how you would naturally respond to the objectives and puzzles in the game. It is also the kind of game that makes you think.
