If you read the book those are really basic observations. The whole Sarif/Page idea isn't right either.
Not only that, but pretty much every single comparison is inaccurate, except for Jock and Malik. It's like whoever made that list just took one look at the characters in the trailers and decided "Oh, that character must be the analogue of this character!"
yay every platform gets a demo :D
Lecture from GDC about the game and the tech/team. Keep eyes on youtube for recordings from PAX.
yay every platform gets a demo :D
Excellent, I can dick about with the PC and PS3 versions to see which is more comfortable.
Watch it be like the Crysis demo. 360 gets it a month before PC, PC gets a buggy console port no one likes, and PS3 gets it week before launch :v:

The demo confirmation was false (f u shogungamer.com) no demo was announced at PAX.
Recordings of gameplay at PAX was prohibited, so don't expect anyone to post anything unless it's official.
Yeah, like someone releasing phone cam footage hasn't happened before.
I'm not saying it's not plausible. I'm simply saying not to get your hopes too high for a good HD quality gameplay video.
The demo confirmation was false (f u shogungamer.com) no demo was announced at PAX.
Source? Quite a lot of sites are reporting the demo without mentioning Shogun Gamer.
Source? Quite a lot of sites are reporting the demo without mentioning Shogun Gamer.
Community Manager's twitter. Who was present at GDC. http://twitter.com/coyotegrey
@Gvaz I have no idea why they would. We never said ANYTHING about a demo.

Contrary to a report that came out regarding our demonstration,my favorite weapon is not the assault rifle and we have not confirmed a demo.
The whole thing game from a stupid livefeed of shogungamer.com. The sites are just copying the info. The livefeed was pretty terrible overall.
I had a dream last night that I was playing the new Deus Ex on PC... The FOV was stuck at 60 and all the menus displayed the "A" and "B" context buttons from the Xbox 360 controller. And I was hitting A and B on my keyboard and it wasn't working. Then I woke up soaked in sweat.

I find it annoying we know more about it than he did and he claimed he played the first DX on PC when he was a kid and loved it. Once again Journalists taking little interest in games they are supposed to be covering. Lot of videos here from an interview with JFD. No sword?!?! :(
Huntsman must be what they mean by unconventional. Its a pretty weird weapon placed in this kind of universe but hopefully the unconventional weapons aren't overpowered or only used in one level. Notice the 'Script Kiddie' reward for when he hacked the security terminal.
Have they mentioned any difference between doing lethal and non lethal takedowns I'm hoping there's some difference between them making non lethal use more energy or only possible on one person at a time
Have they mentioned any difference between doing lethal and non lethal takedowns I'm hoping there's some difference between them making non lethal use more energy or only possible on one person at a time
Lethal* is louder and can be used on multiple enemies. Multiple takedowns cost a lot of energy. But just solo takedowns cost around the same regardless of it being lethal or not I think.
I was eating and that is a terrible jacket, you clearly know nothing of this deadly material.
I didn't say I like it though.
I didn't say I like it though.
Agent Orange knows I like fine leather attire.
Have they mentioned any difference between doing lethal and non lethal takedowns I'm hoping there's some difference between them making non lethal use more energy or only possible on one person at a time
I don't have a source to confirm, but I've read somewhere that non-lethal takedowns give you more xp What I am absolutely sure about though is that enemies who are non-lethal-takedowned (srry) can be revived by other guards.
Automatic takedowns shouldn't give you XP :colbert:
Automatic takedowns shouldn't give you XP :colbert:
Why? I understand this whole butthurting about 3rd person and I have to say that I agree with it but still, no XP? Like, you get XP if you'll just kill a dude in any different way than stealthily coming around someone's back and shoving a blade in his back? Please explain. :colbert:
