Well at least you should get more XP for clubbing someone in the back of the head manually. More effort, bigger reward.

Stops you from sprinting around the level knocking people out in one hit without putting effort into it. I think its more for balance then anything.
Wow, that tiny snippet of gameplay makes me want to have the game right now. Why did it have to be delayed!!??
Why did it have to be delayed!!??
bureaucracy and financial reasons on squeenix's part

Playing through Deus Ex again, I reach the area under Versalife or something with the giant machines and shit. I jump over the railings with the running aug active and crush Maggie Chow into a fine bloody pulp, skipping straight through the final confrontation with her. Oooops.
Huntsman must be what they mean by unconventional. Its a pretty weird weapon placed in this kind of universe but hopefully the unconventional weapons aren't overpowered or only used in one level. Notice the 'Script Kiddie' reward for when he hacked the security terminal.
Like I said before, I'm almost certain the the huntsman is a reference to johnny mnemonic, which they specifically stated that they looked at for inspiration. Just realized I've never beaten Deus Ex. Gonna beat it over spring break. Any mods I should use or is a vanilla playthrough good enough?

Second link has a readme with how to config. Deus Ex issue 5 cover is out. http://dccomics.com/dcu/comics/?cm=18321 I doubt I will buy the comics since they seem to be pretty spoilerish.
Do they lead into the game?
Do they lead into the game?
They are kinda like the true canon I think.
Icarus Effect and the comics are both canon. [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] Speaking of which has anyone finished IE yet? I'm just over halfway through.

Something like it was an imagining of how the events would play out. I need to find the exact quote.
Thinking about piccking up IE myself, I've been needing to read a book now. Especially since it's spring break :3:
Will the comic art actually be good? It seems like a lot of comics based on games like Gears of War and Mass Effect have really shitty artists.

I'll probably pick the comics up.
You can play with better textures and slightly better lighting. Also, widescreen :). This should be helpfull. Very glad for the widescreen.

The.anonymous.gangbanger.of the 21st century. In all seriousness, looking forward to see the trailer. Hopefully there will be more stealth and talking rather than shooting and blowing things up.
Just finished IE That bittersweet ending :britain: :911:
