I bet you'll use the cover-system and take downs, assuming there are no melee weapons in the game.
I don't intend to use the cover system, but if there are no melee weapons then I suppose I don't have a choice. It's not that I'm against the features per se, but they break immersion pretty badly. And I hope to god that object highlighting can be disabled because if it can't I'm gonna whine about it here in my every post
I agree about the object highlighting.
I prefer takedowns because the melee system in Deus Ex is horrible by today's standards. Hitting them in one part of the back kills them instantly while another doesn't and it's just a really annoying and boring system as opposed to flashy takedowns that you know are actually going to work and not alert an entire base because you hit the wrong place.
Object highlighting was in every Deus Ex ever why would they remove it.
The objects in Deus Ex 1 only highlighted when you put your crosshair over it. From what I can tell, in HR, objects are highlighted all the time.

Obligatory 'It's a game' response.
jeez, people are complaining about when they moved the body, because it's oblivion style... Btw, have they mentioned something human parts? like if you get shot in the leg, you can't run until you have healed it. Like the first game.

Body dragging is more responsive than oblivion. I'm sure there was a good reason for it being like that instead of using a similar system to picking up props. I'd rather complain about the lack of facial animation than how bodies are dragged.
Being able to pick things up in Oblivion was put in for completely no reason, it's actually pretty funny.
i'm just keeping in mind that that was on the ps3 version, and not the PC version.
I'd rather complain about the lack of facial animation than how bodies are dragged.
Oh damn it, don't even bring it up in the conversation. The Adam Jensen trailer was so painful to watch.

It can't be THAT complicated and if it is they should've thought about it earlier. Anyone got the second comic or at least a link for it?

No accuracy? I don't want no heat targeting autoaim, but accuracy upgrades are what I go for in games ALWAYS. Headshots are instakill anyway, only bad players need to upgrade damage.

They decided they wanted to have the accuracy of the guns stay the same and let the players skill decide how good he is with the weapon. In their opinion, a headshot should count as a headsot when in close/midrange.
Damage might be useful if you need to take down a gunship or a mech. Otherwise ya headshots will do the trick. I'm kinda wondering about the reload speed one. Are there going to be weapons that will take forever to reload?
only bad players need to upgrade damage.
Call me a bad player, but damage upgrades are useful. E.g. you have a deadly sniper rifle but it's ammo is out and all you're left with is a sucky pistol you never bothered to use. You can upgrade its damage so it deals well, not as about, but nearly the same damage as the sniper rifle. Of course it's just an upgrade and really isn't neccessary but still.

I liked how Jensen was hit once and a half of his health bar was gone. It looked... right. And the health regen was faster than I expected, but I suck at playing games so this won't be a problem for me :v: Also yeah, the object highliting looks weird. Oh, and since the lethal and non-lethal takedowns use the same amount of energy, what's the point of using the lethal ones? Unless you want to play in the :black101: way.

Mine templates sounds like a really good idea.
i will be playing this on "deus ex" difficulty who else is?
i will be playing this on "deus ex" difficulty who else is?
I always play a game on normal difficulty on my first playthrough (except STALKER). Afterwards though, I'll play on DX difficulty every time.
Yeah. I usually play Normal mode just for the experience purpose, so I can soak in the story and basic gameplay elements. Then I'll replay through the DX difficulty.
