Axe arm. "HEEERE'S AN ANCIENT MOVIE REFERNCE"
Does anyone know if we still have to wait forever to get an accurate shot?
Does anyone know if we still have to wait forever to get an accurate shot?
Nope.
Does anyone know if we still have to wait forever to get an accurate shot?
I think they mentioned that they didn't want to limit a player's aiming skills, so the bullet spread thing might be small or nonexistant. However the auto-bullet-curve thing isn't very accurate so you'll need to spray a full magazine to kill 3 people.
Does anyone know if we still have to wait forever to get an accurate shot?
Didn't have to in the first either, provided you allocated your level ups properly.

It''s confirmed that they decided to leave this out. They want the player's skill to be the deciding factor if you shoot somebody trough the head. There are still lots of weapon upgrades though!

Do svidaniya FPSRPG synergy.
Deus Ex Human Revolution can now be purchased on Steam for 10% off. The Augmented Edition (also 10% off) doesn't include any of the pre-order DLC but does have a free copy of Deus Ex GOTY.
The Augmented edition comes default with the extra mission DLC, I'm sure this is just a typo.
Can we infer that this game uses Steamworks, then?
Uses steamworks
So what I'm getting is that Deus Ex 3 is more or less faithful to Deus Ex 1, but with optional easy mode bits tacked on?
That's fine by me.
I am worried they will move the preorder stuff to the collectors edition only to make the difference in content between it and the augmented edition larger

Sure hope so. This will be the deciding factor for me when it comes to pre-ordering steam/retail.
I also prefer my artbook digitally. Looks prettier with the backlight of my monitor.

Just pre-ordered, everything I've seen so far looks fantastic.
I can't wait.
So, Steamworks integration. I'd rather not have it, oh well.
Btw. to those complaining about there not being an option to turn off mouse smoothing: that's because it is never ON in the first place.
AKA they know what they are doing :unsmith:
Raw imput supremacy.
Hopefully the retail copies can be activated on steam as well.

You'll have to; it's a Steamworks title.
What is mouse smoothing anyway?
Just watched the UI video, I like how you can use the numpad to enter codes. That will be quite handy.

Often mixed up with Mouse Acceleration, which is when the speed at which your screen turns increases the longer you move your mouse in one direction, and makes it nearly impossible to develop a feel for turning.
No actually mouse acceleration is the faster you move your mouse, the longer it goes on screen.
Still sucks though.

Oh yeah, I'm thinking of how it works on a controller.
I hated it in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, made me want to smash a bro.

This was one of the few things I hated about Deus Ex. You couldn't turn this off except with a glitchy workaround that made menus impossible to use.
Does anybody know if this game is still coming to OnLive?
So for the American Augmented edition, do we get all the pre-order bonuses regardless of retailer?
