Within six months.
I'm still concerned about savage.
[QUOTE=Wulfram;29914196]I set my birthday as 10-10-2015 and it wont let me watch the video because I'm to young. I guess all this violence is too much for my -4 year old eyes.[/QUOTE]
Well duh you're not even supposed to be born yet.
I would be surprised if we didn't have bionic limbs of the sort in DE in the next 15 years.

BIONIC PAGE KING!

No, UNATCO.
What is the issue preventing the more common use of bionic replacements for Amputees? I know it's expensive, but what is the issue aside from that?
And no, I don't do science.

it's hella difficult to get them to interface with nerves properly, plus they don't replicate all of the functions of the human hand - they're clunkier to use

plus it's difficult to get surgeons qualified enough to do it

Thought so. But scientists in...somewhere recently converted the brainwaves of a cat into images didn't they? Isn't that a big step?

I can't wait to be able to see through my cat's eyes.
Then I'll send it outside on a mission to destroy other cats, and see as it sees.
Finished Icarus Effect. Some of the action scenes ended rather cliche and some of the story points were also rather cliche and too unbelievably campy, but overall it was pretty awesome. The cameos for the most part were introduced beautifully.
[sp]Morgan Everett! Hope we run into him in DX:HR[/sp]

The nerve connections are the easy part, the hard part is to stop the human body from rejecting the implants and augmentations.
was it a mistake to accidentally leave my stunstick (or whatever it's called) on the dock of the first level? I haven't found a replacement and I'm trying to do a no-kill run of one mission (the guy in the armory said something about how I killed everyone in my last mission and it made me wonder what it'd be like to not kill everyone for once)
[editline]19th May 2011[/editline]
oh also the game keeps crashing on me is there a solution to that
[editline]19th May 2011[/editline]
oh and this is a thread for the to-be-released sequel whoops
[QUOTE=Itszutak;29923452]oh and this is a thread for the to-be-released sequel whoops[/QUOTE]
Why do people always go like this whenever there's only one active megathread even when it is for a single game and make a new one?
Yeah it has that one game in the title, big fucking deal, there's no other threads so use that one.
Apologies, it's just that there's been quite much of that recently and I had to vent, again, my apologies Itszutak, for it was not directed at you.

The mole people keep me out 'cause they don't like women.

This is the Deus Ex Series megathread in all but name.
As for the prod, I don't think you ever find a replacement for it. Don't worry though, the baton and the tranquiliser darts are more useful.
Who needs the stun-stick when you have a lightsaber!
God damn do I love the assault-rifle, just wish I could get a silencer for it
[editline]19th May 2011[/editline]
(Talking about Deus Ex 1)
Assault rifle is for nubs
pros stick with the prod
Do any unofficial patches exist for DE1? Things that allow you to go fullscreen without the horrible stretching etc?
The Prod is decent sometimes, I use it when I sneak up close to people
I mostly use the silenced pistol with a scope mod and laser sight, but sometimes you just really need some quick firepower.
Though, most of my fights are close engagement, maybe I should take a sawn off shotgun instead.

Lookin' forward
I just ran at everything with the strongest melee weapon I had. If you run at a regular soldier, you can hit him twice before he turns around and shoots you, which is enough to kill him

He was a good man. Sigh, what a rotten way to die.
It really was :frown: I thought the bomb would be detected if I upgraded my demolitions skill. Guess not :patriot:
