[QUOTE=Slithersoul;30090640]I'm 90% sure that Minish Cap and Four Swords Adventures are spin-offs[/QUOTE] That's the problem with Zelda games; they're ALL spinoffs. That doesn't mean they don't have a continuing storyline, it just means that it's really hard to prove how that storyline's put together.
Wasn't there an interview with one of the devs about the timeline? [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] Turns out there is a timeline pieced together from the gathering of several interviews. Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess are on the same line.

Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess are on the same line.[/QUOTE] I explained that bit of timeline in my first post near the top. :v: Also, Skyward Sword is going to be the first game of the series and the creation of the Master Sword (the titular sword becomes it apparently). However, I've been hearing a weird rumor that the SS Link meets the OOT Link. Anyone got a confirmation?
Most of the games are unrelated, gosh. Only 1-3 games are usually related to each other at any point in the series.
All the stories are dreams within dreams that eventually manifest as reality in dreams further down the line creating memories inside of dreams inside of reality. [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] All of this is going on inside the master sword.
The idea that there is actually a timeline makes it pretty fun to piece everything together. Someone should steal Miyamoto's computer to get that document.
I just give link a different name each time and fuck continuity
Trying to tie knots in the zelda timeline is like trying to shoot a fly with a cannon.
