Dead Moneys writing is spoiling me, i'm sad bethesda will be making/writing 4.
Never know. Maybe they will have the obsidian writing team tag along.
Just spent 9000 caps on new armor and tacticool upgrades for some of my weapons. I also jsut got the Jury Rigging perk so thatll make things a lot easier.

jury rigging perk is best perk
Curiously the [sp]Footlocker full of unique items[/sp] at the end of Honest Hearts was [sp]obviously added so somebody wouldn't have to make a 5 minute mod for it, but it's such a huge bastard of an immersion breaker I'm half tempted to check if nobody else has done it and then make a mod to REMOVE the damned thing. Or rename the items and disperse them across the world as armour instead.
It really bothered me after the ending that suddenly they throw bullshit in your face.[/sp]
Yeah I thought that was a bit weird.
tried to play the first fallout, made int and speech based character
first cave was boring because rats are easy to kill
so i get ready to go to the other vault and get water chips, and run into a random encounter
3 lesser mole rats bend me over and fuck me in the ass.
this happens every time before i can reach the vault, sometimes i can reach shady sands first
jury rigging perk is best perk
What sucks is that if you want to get it at the level it is unlocked at, you'd have to focus completely on getting a 90 repair skill.
Welp, [sp]I didnt expect the game to end and not let me freeplay[/sp] once I beat the final quest.
as insulting as it may sound, Does anyone know where I can find some Nazi clothing for New Vegas?
I made a Nazi Scientist character and I want some clothing to help with the immersion.
Before I get bombed with boxes I do not support Nazis. I'm just asking for Nazi-esqe clothing for immersing myself into the character I'm creating.

reskin the scientist outfit to have swastikas on it, then make it a separate clothing item and add it into the level data of an easy-to-access location

You didn't read the message that popped up just before the final mission?

I keep getting an error when trying to start up the New Vegas GECK.

[release]
Dr. Oberst Blutslaught
Origin story:
April 31st 1945,
Hitler is dead......the Third Reich has fallen.......Berlin lies in ruin. A small group of special Nazi scientists refused to believe it. So they instead choose to defy it, by defying the laws of nature. A final Science project code named "Die Sterblichkeit Gefrierschrank" (The Mortality Freezer). was the group's last attempt to save the Reich by freezing themselves into the future in order to restart the Nazi party...as the Fourth Reich of Germania!
Only one Scientist however was somewhat doubtful the project long before the war began. Oberst Blutslaught was always one to be in between ideas and choices. He enjoyed the experiments on his live human test subjects. Keep in mind Oberst is no saint. He was a born sadist.......he just scoffed at the idea of a man like Adolf getting into power like that and actually maintaining Nazi Germany for 1,000 years. Probably someone else more capable of politics and maintenance of country without diving it into war for little to no reason. But not Adolf. As he slept on the night of April 30th, word reached the hidden bunker that Adolf had committed suicide and that the Russian's had raised the hammer and sickle over the Reichstag. Oberst awoke the morning of April 31st to find the bunker full of dead corpses of his comrades...no doubt so traumatized by their Fuhrer's death that they either reached for their pistol, rope, cyanide capsule, or ran for the nearest place to jump off from.
Oberst wasn't at all surprised. In fact he was pleased to be rid of such annoying sheep. But he knew what he had done and what would happen if the allies, especially the Russians, were to catch him. So he put on his finest lab coat and packed a suitcase filled with all his research and was flown to the United States by an "old friend" of his. He stepped into a secret bunker in Hidden Vally and stepped into A Mortality freezer and cryogenically froze himself 200 years into the future, hoping to find some sheep.
When he woke up all he found was rubble and dust around him. He looked outside to see the result of mankind's faults.
....."Perfect" ,he thought "Now I'll need to become the Shepard to some sheep".[/release]

Thats a terrible build, just pick Albert one of the pre made characters.
Is it sad that's probably far more creative than half the shit on Nexus?
Not really.
[sp]...because it was originally a mod for Fallout 3. Get it?[/sp]
I just downloaded Honest Hearts. Whoo. The next time I have a spare $13, I'll get Dead Money, too. Or perhaps the next DLC will have come out by then and through a chain of unlikely events I'll have to wait until the GOTY edition comes out to play it. Yep.
Is [sp]selling arcade into slavery to caesar [/sp] a good choice or should I just [sp]complete the For Auld Lang Syne quest [/sp]?

do For Auld Lang Syne. Selling him into slavery isn't good at all in the long run.

do you think I take games seriously
Wow, Honest Hearts was disappointing. The Burned Man was a cool character, but everyone else pretty much sucked, especially after coming off of Dead Money. [sp]Sided with Joshua and had him execute Salt-Upon-Wounds.[/sp] Might've enjoyed it more if Nevada Skies wasn't seemingly freaking the fuck out and thunder storming for literally the entire fucking time, even after I disabled rain. Also, it was short.
HH added rain. I was really surprised when it started pouring suddenly. Chances are it wasn't entirely Nevada Skies' fault.
I heard the rain but I did not see any.
I heard the rain but I did not see any.
Lucky you. It would start storming and no amount of waiting it out would make it go away. When it finally did go away on it's own it would literally start right back up 30 seconds later.

I liked Honest Hearts because it was a nice break from all the cowboys and shit. The tribes were really well done and looked believable, although I think adding a whole new cartridge and having only two guns that fire it is a bit dumb, to be honest.
I liked Honest Hearts because it was a nice break from all the cowboys and shit.
I agree that Honest Hearts didn't just run with the main game's totally-not-cowboys-shooting-each-other-in-desert theme, yeah.
Wouldn't call it much of a "break", though, since HH essentially replaced it with totally-not-Indians-shooting-each-other-in-desert.

Only half of the totally-not-Indians were using guns though. Most of them just charge at you with a mantis appendage strapped to their forearm.
Fallout 4 with the Skyrim treatment would make me orgasm even more then finding out about Skyrim
remember when i said wouldn't it be cool if i merged fallout 3 and new vegas into the same game with file swapping
well....
