Well time to replay Honest Hearts.
[editline]22nd May 2011[/editline]
Just stopped him from killing Salt Upon Wounds and I still killed him though and I think I got a worse or better ending.
Here's what happened(just copied from the fallout wiki)
[sp]If the Courier stops Joshua Graham from executing Salt-Upon-Wounds, but the war chief still falls in battle at Three Mary's, Joshua leads the Sorrows and Dead Horses in tending to their comrades and burning the corpses of their foes. He continues to advocate militant opposition to the enemies of New Canaan and shows little quarter to those he fights. And yet he is changed. He no longer revels in the brutality and cruelty for which he had been known in his former life. His inner demons, if not extinguished, are at the least... appeased. [/sp]
Pretty good DLC if I say so myself.
It quenched my thirst for more combat.
I had the problem of picking up way too many food items.

It's in the public folder. I even clicked "Copy Public Link." If you can't see it, there is something wrong on your part.

Fucking Img_thumb not working...
I just realized I didn't get any of the Honest Heart achievements I should've, as well as half a dozen other achievements I should have that I don't.
What the fuck, Steam?

Did you use the console at all? I think that disables them.
Yes... Yes I did.
How do I re enable achievements?
Just restart fallout again.
Ah, alright.

Are there any high quality energy weapon mods? Right now I mainly use a Laser Rifle with the Holorifle serving as backup for big hitters and the Compliance Regular as a sidearm but none of them are particularly exciting to look at.[/QUOTE]
Ahztek's Weapon Overhaul adds a lot of cool-looking energy weapons.
[QUOTE=UnidentifiedFlyingTard;29969621]Not sure what you mean, unless you mean infinite respawns of giant Supermutants or other creatures.[/QUOTE]
I wouldn't mind Bethesda making the next fallout, but I hope they take a page or two from Obsidians book (figuratively) they need to come up with a seperate storyline so the canon doesnt get so conflicted and contradicted. Fallout 1 had supermutants and the master. Fallout 2 had the enclave. Fallout 3 had supermutants and the enclave :downs:
It would actually be really cool if Bethesda made Fallout games that take place on the east coast (DC, New York, Boston, etc), and have their own storyline, and then Obsidian continues the West Coast Fallout story.

what about central u.s.
get Inxile to do those ones (Brian Fargo's Dev Company).

The problem with that is that Bethesda needs to demonstrate they can bring in interesting, unique factions and races that maintain the feeling of the series while not being ripped page for page from one of the original 2 games.
Though how do we know Bethesda is in charge of development? I thought they were only confirmed to be the publishers.

Tactics/PoS
[editline]22nd May 2011[/editline]
[QUOTE=simkas;29929808]Does anyone think that some of the stuff in Honest Hearts goes a bit out-of-lore? I mean, Joshua's and Daniel's clothes (especially his vest) look more 80s to me and the walkie talkies you pick up don't seem like something you'd see in the 60s either.[/QUOTE]
The '80s still happened, they just didn't advance as far. In FO2 a character makes an Arnold Schwarzenegger joke.
i heard somewhere that (not talking technology wise) fallout history started being different from ours in 1992 or so
you can yell at me if i'm wrong though
[editline]22nd May 2011[/editline]
hell fallout 1 had desert eagles, but i think the devs said that it was a mistake

Yeah, but then why does every other piece of clothing that's made from pre-war stuff look like it came from the 60s?
So, I'm replaying since honest hearts came out, but I am not there yet, but I wonder, is there a mod, for E-DE, that replaces his beeps and boops
to dialogue from the portal 2 turrets? From both the faulty and the working ones, it would be awesome.

Or Rick the adventure sphere
[QUOTE=Olegr;29984811]Or Rick the adventure sphere[/QUOTE]
Damn, that one too.
Though rick doesn't really have single lines, he just rambles on.
[editline]22nd May 2011[/editline]
But if you an edit some of his lines out, like Happy Explosion Day, it would be gold.
I understand that there are some voice mods for ed-e and most of them are just bunch of re-named wav files, so if someone could tell me where
can I find the lines of these guys, maybe even I could whip something up.
[editline]22nd May 2011[/editline]
Nevermind, extracted them with GCFscape. So begins my first ever mod project for New Vegas.
I would totally download 'E-D-E the Adventure sphere'. It would be better than the one that turns it into an anime chick anyway.

When battle begins, make him start singing his adventure song.
I just played dead money, and my guy dies at the ending, is there an ending where you dont die and continue?

[sp]Don't read the personal accounts.[/sp]
Next time, read the goddamned thing.
Okay, now testing ED-E: The Turret
I tried doing a Rick one, but he doesn't really have fitting lines, maybe alert themes, like his adventure song, Happy Explosion Day
etc. The Faulty Turrets have some cool responses too. But if this won't work, then I'll just add everything to replace ed-e's default cowboy battle theme.
Supposedly, with the one I just made, ed-e is supposed to give actual replies, not just beeps and boops. Though I have no idea if it'll work.
The mods that feature dialogue for ed_e are just ones that add alert themes to it (those replace ed-e's western song when he goes to battle, right?) but there was this bender pack, that I suppose, made actual replies too, so based on that I made the turret one.
Turns out the game uses wavs not mp3s. Now I gotta convert everything.
[editline]22nd May 2011[/editline]
Well, making a full pack takes longer than you'd think.
In the meantime, I replaced ED-E's battle theme with Rick's Adventure song

If it fucks up tell me so,
Wow I just realized who the voice actor is for Graham
It's "that guy" from The Dark Knight. You all know who he is

AND he's Harbinger from ME 2

Dynavision can be such a hassle sometimes. Just drag them up to your tabs (unless you're using some kind of prehistoric browser that doesn't support tabs.)

Because Bethesda are idiots who don't understand Fallout at all. :colbert:
Can anyone help me find the reference id for the gold bars from dead money.
found it
