Is... that supposed to be... a Deathclaw or an Alien?
it's Doc Mitchell.
It looks like that thing on the DOOM 3 case
And I kinda want to actually play through the first two fallout games, are they worth the money on STEAM? or are there places that sell them cheaper?

I got fallout 1, 2, and tactics + bonus things like the unofficial fallout 2 patch in a retail box for $10 less than fallout 1, 2, and tactics on steam
I think it was pretty brilliant for them to force you to take no more than 75 pounds of equiptment to Zion.
I'm always so bogged down in garbage, I can never find out what I need and what I dont need. Forcing you to take so little really helps you decide what items are most important to you, and strips you to the bare essentials so your skills and level actually matter, and the relatively short supply of ammo on zion makes it so you have to pick weapons intellegently. BUT, it wasnt like dead money where you can't take any of your stuff at all.
Hope the rest of the DLCs do that, impose weight limits.
So Jesus returned a day late in New Vegas.

To be honest, I kinda wish that Fallout games had a weight limit more like STALKER's, where you can't have more than 50 kilos of crap on you at a time. It forces you to take the essentials and actually choose what you need rather than just take everything you see. Unfortunatly, weapons in fallout aren't balanced the way they are in STALKER, and it actually winds up being a good idea to take a fuckton of guns with you everywhere.

Not nessarily, sometimes it feels like you're just hauling stuff around arbitraily, not nessarily because you need them. All the guns are your little babbies, and you dont want to give any of them up :saddowns:
Once you get to zion, you can function pretty well with only 1-3 weapons, and having to cosnerve your ammo with them adds to the fun. My last RP character felt out of place, so I created a new character to play Honest Hearts with with. Even now Im having trouble deciding what guns to take with me. Im thinking Making good use of my hunting shotgun, 357 revolver, and repeater rifle/s

Except the fact that Fallout is a goofy game with hilarious moments, and a REAL free roam.
Yeah sure Fallout can have some intense and even emotional moments but STALKER is supposed to be a serious FPS shooter intensely focused on survival.
If you want it to be like stalker, open console and type in "setplayerweight 75" or something like that. I enjoy carrying 300 pounds of guns across the Mojave.

In honest hearts it was easy to manage 1-3 weapons because there were hardly even any enemies there, and the ones you did encounter got gunned down easily. And for weapons, I brought a fully modded Brush Gun, fully modded Laser Rifle, and fully modded Trail Carbine. It was pretty much overkill and I was playing on hard.
The bug in Honest Hearts where your companion goes off the map or whatever is incredibly annoying. I am in a situation now where I have to fend off a whole group of White Legs without any help. Ugh..
I only can carry a max of 135lbs :saddowns:
Though I don't usually have a problem keeping it under 60.
Then again my current character isn't on hardcore.

Strong Back, 7 Strength, 300 carryweight, and I have two perks that make the weight of items weigh half of what they originally do and I still manage to get encumbered sometimes. I fucking love my guns man.
I play with my game modded to ultimate survival mode.
Honest Hearts was way too easy for my level 1 character. :v:

Yeah, I only carry like 3-4 guns tops.
Compliance Regulator (badass laser pistol)
Modded out Laser Rifle
A Light Shining In The Dark
I have an energy weapon character but I carry the .45 for real close combat since I have a perk that makes shit explode when it's killed with an energy weapon and the blast is strong enough to kill me too if they're close enough.
What happened to that perk? Meltdown I think it was called, and the EW requirement was 90 or 95, right? I was thinking about it earlier today and can't find it anywhere.
Also, your avatar is going to give me nightmares, looks like that girl from lazytown on cocaine
Wow I just realized who the voice actor is for Graham
It's "that guy" from The Dark Knight. You all know who he is

AND he's Harbinger from ME 2
He's also Herschel Biggs from LA Noire.
I'm disappointed in how short Honest Hearts was
And I'm sad you can't get the face wrap Joshua wears. Probably can, and it's hidden in the GECK.
I need help, guys.
I just sneak attacked some NCR Veteran Rangers so that I can take their outfits and sell them (I have Jury Rigger, so I don't need them that much). But the only vendor I know who can give me enough caps for the outfits (4000 caps) now have 2000 caps because I sold A LOT of stuff to them earlier. Are there any other good vendors?

people dont understand caps :monocle:
Offer the armor, whatever he cant pay you in caps, take in lightweight but expensive merchandise, like guns. Then take those guns to another vendor to get the rest of the value.
The vendors with enough caps will be:
- Gun Runners
- The two gun vendors at the 188 (Alexander and the NCR woman)
- Blake at crimson caravan
- Contreras at Mccaran

Ah, thank you. That NCR lady was very helpful. And the Gun Runner suddenly have 8000 caps again.
Is there a different place to get mods instead of the Nexus? I still can't access it.

Fallout underground but they have a number of requirements in order to download files.
A minimum post count and something else.
And what do you mean you can't access it?
Started a new game because my old files became corrupted.
I waltz on over to pay Ranger Andy's friends a visit and I'm greeted by this :

That NCR Lady at the 188 needs a name.

The site just won't open. Tried different browsers, restarting my internet, disabling firewall. No effect.
Just going to browse the Nexus...

I love how the face totally doesn't match whatsoever
Ive decided to play F:NV differently, by setting certain rules upon myself.
1) I can only carry 2 rifles/or one big gun and side arm
2) I can only take 4 clips for each gun
3) Ive got rid of all my caps
Hoping to make it more of a survival experience.
Damn it's hard to find photos of the interior of the Metropolitan Correctional Center. All the image results are the same photo of a cell and political cartoons of Bernard Madoff. Hell, all the material on the website is plain text legal documents. Who'd have thought a prison would be so uptight about security
Oh well, generic 50s style prison it is.
