Rate me dumb, but how do I even get to the mod's location. Just wait for it to activate and a note will pop up, or "coc bigapple", or wait I need the first version, don't I?
Go to Rivet City's airstrip, there's a Vertibird on the far end.
Hey, do any of you guys have Pre-order DLC's you'd trade for TF2 hats..
I don't care about TF2 anymore and this game has become my life. Win-win.
the preorder dlc is for preorders only, us giving you a download would be just as bad as you torrenting it
unless you mean the post-release DLCs in which case I ask you who in their right mind would trade hours of story driven entertainment costing $10 for a few superficial hats in TF2

Also, I need to know... how is Dead Money and Honest Hearts? Honest Hearts looks sweet as fuck, so I really want that, but not sure about Dead money.
honest hearts took me an hour and a half to complete
not worth the money at all
dead money was p good tho
And what about the person who survived, the person who survived GETTING SHOT BY HIM.
Benny thought he was the bees knees, shooting you was just part of his day to day job. But when you survived being shot in the head, so Benny should treat you like a god.

I'll give you my already-used caravan pack code that I still don't even know why I got (I didn't preorder fnv on pc)

already used seems like it wouldn't work. Thanks for the offer though mate.
Ladies, Gentlemen, and Everyone Else: The screenshot camera has arrived.
[release]
Screenshot Camera
Ever want to use TM to take the perfect shot, but can't bring yourself to disable achievements when you're like ten caps away from "You Run Barter Town"? Don't you wish you could just use TM from some other method?
Well, sadly, you can't, but you can have the next best thing!
This uses disableplayercontrols to disable the HUD. It unfortunately means you will be unable to move, but you can still holster and fire your camera, and I think the PipBoy works too.
Known Limitations:

You are unable to unholster or fire your weapon when you first start. This isn't my mod, this is Fallout NV preventing you from killing Doc Mitchell.

You can't disable the corner notifications. Again, Fallout NV, not me.
You sir are the winner. Many props.

So did everything show up?
It's a testing release not a demo release that comes later :saddowns:
Honest Hearts was really short. I expected more side-quests (was there even one?). The new items are cool, though.
Might as well just post this in the thread:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27962901/DoL%20Test%20Version%202.rar
Mostly just fixed scripts, extended quests a bit and some new weapons/armour/dialogue
I really enjoyed this (even though I never finished it, crashed 18 times throughout the mod and couldn't take it anymore [sp] after the screen flashed white and I guess was I captured.[/sp])
Just two problems that can be easily fixed.
First, I could not hear the radio operator at all, even at max volume. Also try adding more classical New York songs instead of Jingle Bells
Second, try to vary your npcs. More than half the ghouls are roamers and they seem to spawn right on top of each other. The Dog City mod had the npcs spawning on top of each other, and it really got repetative shooting a rocket out of every tunnel you came out of. It really ruined my experience for Dog City.
On the other hand, Your level design is very nice and your scenery and object placement makes sense (conductor's hat in train tunnel.) I will definitely check it out once it is in a more playable state.
is anyone else annoyed by people who say Honest Hearts is nothing but fetch quests, but if you boil it down almost ever quest every in any game is essentially a fetch quest.

Noticed that. When I was doing the store guard quests for the Silver Rush I was like "well this is something new, doing a job like this a few times would be fun."
"HURP DURP FOUND GUY BETOR AT JOB DELIVER PACKAEG!"
So I did what any reasonable person would do.
Gratuitous amounts of god mode and fat man inside that place.

Thanks for the feedback. I'd forgotten I'd even put Jingle Bells in there until I was testing today, I think I still have a list of songs I could have included lying around. The announcer needs to rerecord his lines, if you could have heard them they're pretty low quality anyway.
I'll cut back on the ghouls. They're scaled to your level so when I was testing on a level 5 character they were mostly one-headshot jobs. Probably have far less of them, higher difficulty. Anyway, beyond that tunnel and maybe some incidental side-dungeons the enemies will mostly be human.

Especially true considering the beginning of New Vegas starts with a botched fetch quest thanks to Benny.

Isn't this a bit pointless? Just press your console key to hide the hud and press your screenshot key / steamcloud screenshot, and use tfc 1 (doesn't deactivate achievements) to move around if you so desire?

even if it does disable achievements.
save
use cheats to take screenshot

I just turn down the hud opacity.
Ah, I see obsidian corrected the many complaints about Cazadors not being hard or numerous enough, by placing many Giant Cazadors in Zion. Just when I felt the regular cazadors weren't swarming and killing me enough
Next up in the Big Empty: Flying Invisible Deathclaws

By the way, I have a problem with New Vegas - I can't hear radio music on my Pip-Boy, nor can I hear combat music.
I'm not sure if this is related to my codecs or mods, so I'll post screenshots of what I am using:

Those 2 Feet ones were annoying in 3. Mostly the Albino ones that came out of FUCKING NOWHERE.

That Radio New Vegas fix sound like a culprit, try unticking it, then running the game.

The issue was present before I installed this particular mod.
