I think if you get to vault 15, then they let you back in the vault. there's supplies and a doctor that heals you for free.
I went in Vault 15 but I only had enough rope to go down one level so I had to leave. I got more rope now but I haven't gone back yet.
Well, that's interesting.
New character the other day, I go to Nipton, I kill Oliver Swanick (the lottery guy) and all the legionaires.
I come back like a week later ingame as the same character (obviously), Oliver Swanick appearantly raised himself from the dead or won the Divine Lottery, runs up to me and says, "What do you need?"
I hit goodbye and kill him again with a headshot from a cowboy repeater, except this time I used all the land mines I had near his corpse and set them off with a 40mm grenade. Bastard better not come back again.
Thankfully all the legionaires were still dead.
I'm beginning to think that RFCW just exists to annoy people. I've installed it, following the directions completely 100% precisely, but it always brings the launcher up and the only option I has is to "Install" New Vegas.
Yes I am doing everything right.
I've got a mod that let's me have unlimited companions, so of course I go and recruit all of the companions, except Cass because I hate that bitch and had the VanGraffs kill her.
The game is now Easy Mode: The Game. It's almost funny seeing this motley crew of misfits wash over a group of raiders like a wave and leave behind nothing but piles of gore.

Motley crew of misfits? More like professionally assembled crew of killers.
Atleast in my game, I armed them all with strong-ass weapons and awesome armor and I hardly did anything. :v:
Is that a mod that makes grenades a separate button?
That'd actually have me using grenades. I must have.
Yeah, requires NVSE though. You get a grenade button, a button that changes grenade type, a melee button (think shit like CoD, you hold it down and you start swinging, when you let go it switches back), and a melee weapon switcher. You can even assign mod grenades to the hotkey.
Here's the mod: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38808
If you're using any other UI mods I recommend installing Unified HUD Project.

I remember doing some exploring in the mountains, long after going through Nipton (I think I was level 27 or something at this time). I went out of a shack I've found in the mountains:
"Yeah, who won the lottery? I did!"
I was all what the fuck, than killed him.:v:
Found myself in the mountains at nightfall, hungry, thirsty and tired. Screw fast travelling back to civilization, I set up camp in a little alcove, frag mined the perimeter, cooked me some gecko steaks and had a nice long sleep. :smug:
I went in Vault 15 but I only had enough rope to go down one level so I had to leave. I got more rope now but I haven't gone back yet.
There was rope and a leather jacket in a locker in the room across from the second elevator. I would suggest picking it up unless you've already found some good armor.
Out of curiosity, why aren't there any modern weapons from the older fallouts?
I was king of hoping to see some of them, and it's a little off that none of them made it to NV considering its pretty damn close to California.
I'm talking about the desert eagle, the P90, pancor jackhammer, fal, ect
is there a mod to brings this into new vegas, and not just have them be shitty mw2 ports?

Now I have a reason to reinstall F3, Dammit why is it when you finish the normal game a mod comes out that literally should be a game itself or just great and you have to reinstall
I like the Shojo mod to a certan degree
no
So who do I need to speak to so I don't have to slaughter everyone in my quest to get the zion map?
Alright, never mind that, how the hell do I find a translator without shooting the shit out of everyone?
Just earlier, I accidentally encountered like, three deathclaws at level 7. I was all like "BAMM POW" and they died, which was pretty cool. Then... over the horizon...
Cazadores. Even worse? I quicksaved.
Cazadores are the most annoying enemy in this game and they are always in a group of 5-7.

Don't uninstall games, unless they flat out suck.
Exceptions to this are getting new hardware/OS, or having almost no HDD space.
So how do I align myself with a faction in Honest Hearts? this is getting ridiculous.
God dammit, is there a way to get past Harry the Mutant without killing him and all the mutants? I have a high intelligence character, so I can't convince him I'm a mutant, and even if I use all my shotgun shells on him, I can't kill him because he has like 200 HP. I can take care of the other mutants as long as this asshole doesn't use his goddamn lazer rifle on me. This is really pissing me off, because 10 luck seriously can't help me out at ALL in battle? I've gotten one critical hit in the whole game and it only knocked harry over.
So how do I align myself with a faction in Honest Hearts? this is getting ridiculous.
O you silly. You can't really align yourself to a faction in HH.
But seriously, elaborate on what you are trying to say, because you can't really join or work with the white legs, and you are already friends with the dead horses and sorrows.
I think I've finally settled on backing Joshua, bespite the "theatricality" of the evacuation. Theatricality is in quote because even I don't know what I mean.
do fo3 mods work in new vegas? I'm sure this has been asked to death, just want to make sure
Not unless you change their master file to be the New Vegas one instead of the Fallout 3 one, and even then they are unlikely to work unless you delete all Fallout 3 exclusive records.

Gah! Flip-flopping again! Why must I take games so seriously, this is The Pitt all over again. I hardly ever have this problem in Mass Effect.

Alright, what I'm trying to say is this: How do I walk into one encampment or another without having to slaughter everyone in self defense. This happens the same way no matter what faction's camp I decide to walk in, no matter if I'm wearing the right uniform.
They all hate me, they all shoot at me. From the beginning I thought Gunderson said something about getting a translator, but Waking Cloud or whatever seems to speak English fine, as she screams it at me when we fight.
Here is where I am, plot wise: Something bad happened to the caravan was with, and I ended up killing Follows-Chalk or whatever.
That's it. My only other encounters with either white legs or dead horses end in me killing them, or the other way around.
How do I progress, is what I'm asking, because right now, I'm racking up a body count to rival you-know-who.

[SP]The Pitt was rather easy for me because the second I realized what was special about the baby was the second I realized that the, *cough* current administration was the only one that could handle developing a cure. It was basically the whole "for the greater good" sort of deal.[/SP]
