So guys, is it a good idea to use normal saves rather than quicksaves? I have a shitload of saves now, is there any way I can delete some without manually doing so through the game?

Thanks. Apparently my saves don't really amount to much on the hard drive. Anyway, I hate to always be asking questions, but what's up with Point Lookout? My Combat Shotgun could absolutely decimate Tesla-armored Enclave, but a shot to the head in Point Lookout on a barely armored Tribal barely phases them.

They automatically get something like 40 damage knocked off every attack they get hit by. Why Bethseda decided to make a bunch of hillbillies that powerful is somewhat of a mystery - there are other ways to make enemies a difficult fight.
Well after successfully looting [sp]379,404 caps[/sp] worth of gold from a certain DLC and logging around 60-70 hours playtime, I think it's probably time for me to take a break from New Vegas for a while now and come back to it in the future.
I find it amusing that I still haven't even completed the main quest line. This game is literally all I've been playing and I really have been hooked onto it. :v:

Wait fuck, I realized I missed one gold bar (36 out of 37). Meh not really bothered to go back and fetch it all over again.
Hire the awesome Liam Neeson to voice a character
Have him disappear for most of the game [sp]and die shortly after you find him[/sp]
Smart move, Bethesda.
Bethesda likes to waste money on hiring big-name actors. Said actors probably demand a lot of money per-sentence so Beth then just puts as few lines for them as possible, so it only eats 75% of the budget instead of 1175%.

I wish Bethesda would hire experienced VOICE actors, like, say, Jennifer Hale, or Kieth David.
Tara Strong, even!
Seriously, they charge like 1/10th as much and do a much better job.
It's funny how this computer can't even run fallout new vegas good, but yet my crappy computer runs
it so smooth. I guess video cards beats ram and processers.

It melted and went underground
I'm replaying NV on pure vanilla, and when I head into Nipton I decided to play this for fighting the legion:

There's no greater feeling then when music syncs with your combat.

Or they could get Morgan Freeman to narrate the endings.
Or they could get Morgan Freeman to narrate the endings.
Ron Perlman is a fucking staple. No one could replace him.
But i would like a character that like, explained most of the plot, with Morgan's voice.
Or they could get Morgan Freeman to narrate the endings.
I love Morgan Freeman. And I love Ron Perlman.
Don't fuck with tradition, it's Perlman or no endings.
Finally managed to get into New Vegas. I've just arrived at Novac [sp]and I killed all of the legion guys at Nipton for being dickheads[/sp]
I just kill all Legion and Powder Gangers on sight. Will this make the game harder for me in the long run? :v:

Powder Gangers would die if you threw a toothpick at them.
Anyone know of a mod that makes the karma system a little less idiotic..
Anyone know of a mod that makes the karma system a little less idiotic..
Which game? Vegas has a mod which makes all indicators invisible, which makes it have little to no impact. If it's 3, you're just kind of stuck with "AND THEN WATER WAS/WASN'T PURE AND YOU'RE SATAN/JESUS"

Something like these?

I've been trying for hours to figure out how to install FOIP in a way that doesn't screw up Fallout 3, but I just can't find out how. And this is coming from the guy who could get modded Morrowind installs to work long before packs like MW2011.
Does anyone know an install guide somewhere? Google isn't turning anything up.
On the subject of FO3 mods, any mods other than FOIP I should get?
What the flying fuck. I turned my graphics to high on FNV and it runs much better I had it on very low and it lagged very badly.
This comic might require a bit of explanation. A game I've mentioned enjoying is Fallout 3. The game takes place about 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse, and you're wandering a wasteland full of mutants, raiders, giant insects, giant scorpions, and, well, even BIGGER giant scorpions, etc.
All of the scorpions of unusual size are supposed to be hostile towards the player. When I was playing for a bit earlier today, however, something weird happened.
I was fighting off some raiders when one of the giant-giant scorpions ran in, killed the raiders, and ran off. It ignored me entirely, and according to the in-game radar, it wasn't hostile. It just swooped in to save me from being mugged and left. It was like Batman in giant-giant scorpion form.
And that, my friends, is the origin of this horrible, horrible comic.
Fucking radscorpions man
They're like mirelurks, you end up either wasting some health on shooting them with VATS, waiting for your AP to fill up, and repeating, or wasting tons of ammo taking bb-gun damage shots at the shell.
But they never actually kill you or pose too much of a threat
I finished Dead Money. It was okay, it had a pretty neat story, even if I don't 100% understand the ghost worshippers or whatever.
Also, they handled [sp]Christine's muteness terribly. She didn't even act like she was doing half of the actions the text said she was. It was just "Nod yes" or "Nod no" mostly.[/sp]

EGS? In my facepunch?
Apparently it's more likely than I think.
Anyways, i recently started playing fallout 3 again, but the damn thing keeps crashing on me every hour or so of play

Engine limitation.
Engine limitation.
More like lazy-ass animators. If your engine can't handle a few expressions and hand gestures during a dialogue scene, something is HORRIBLY wrong.

Well, they're very sorry that they didn't create four hundred specialized animations for one single character that needed subtitles to truly convey the message anyway.
Besides, it's Gamebryo, of course there's going to be something wrong.

You talk like you expected Bethesda to show competence.
