Whats that mod that has dice rolls like You get 50+ to one skill but -50 to it at the same time. Or where the vault dweller will appear and aid you in combat
wrong.
I'm just playing along, geez. Not like anyone cares about that unique class mumbo jumbo.

I'm adding a radio station to my New York FO3 mod. It's a pre-war Emergency Broadcast for survivors immidiately after the bombs in public shelters and the such. I've got the actual station set up and intro dialogue temp-recorded with Microsoft Anna until my friend can actually voice them, but am rather lacking in music. Any suggestions for the sort of music the government might play to keep survivors in shelters (Who don't think they'll be there long) entertained and calm?
So, if I were to get either FO3 or NV, which should I get Facepunch? actually, GOTY edition of FO3 looks damn good for $30.
holy shit why is your use key delete of all things unless you play with the arrow keys or something you fucking heathen
WASD+E master race. :smug:
holy shit why is your use key delete of all things unless you play with the arrow keys or something you fucking heathen
I do play with the arrow keys, and all the other controls are around them, because my mouse is on the left. Problem?
I do play with the arrow keys, and all the other controls are around them, because my mouse is on the left. Problem?
You should play with the number pad, it works much better.
I do play with the arrow keys, and all the other controls are around them, because my mouse is on the left. Problem?
honestly I think nearly all controls are geared towards the right handed I've not seen a single person, not even left handed people, use their mouse on the left.
Radio station now consists of: Andrews Sisters & Bing Cosby - Acentuate The Positive Benny Goodman - It Don't Mean A Thing Ink Spots - Castles In The Sand Louis Armstrong - The Circle Of Your Arms ? - Rosie The Riveter Titanic: Adventure Out of Time Soundtrack - Cafe Parisian B-Deck Hey, it's more than all of New Vegas' stations put together :downsrim:

Yes, I know it's already been used.
Genuinely surprised by the lack of Honest Hearts news.

In the case of calming music, I'd guess some of the stuff from Fallout 3, or classical music, barring Butcher Pete, of course. The Ink Spots, etc How's that mod going, by the way? Haven't heard much about it for a while.
I stopped working on it for forever and started again this week. Been working on it pretty much solidly. You'll never guess how long it's taken me on one detailed, rather very large exterior cell of Grand Central Station alone. [sp]16 hours and it's not even close to finished[/sp] :geno: I'd post screenshots but the exterior will look silly without being entirely done and the interior still needs detailing. God damn it's hard to do landmarks without custom models. Thanks for the Sinatra suggestion, there was somebody I was thinking of but for some reason I couldn't remember who that I definitely wanted to include some songs by and it was him.

Way more Sinatra. A little list: Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry (Would be pretty silly to add the BTTF version, but i'm not aganist that.) Roll Over Beethoven - Chuck Berry Great Balls Of Fire - Jerry Lee Lewis Jailhouse Rock - Elvis Presley Might not fit with the current songs, but i think they'd want to keep the mood up inside the shelters.
You should play with the number pad, it works much better.
I used to play KOTOR that way, since the arrow keys were permanently bound to menus and HUD navigation. Shit sucked.
honestly I think nearly all controls are geared towards the right handed I've not seen a single person, not even left handed people, use their mouse on the left.
I'm right handed, but I got used to this, and now works suprisingly well. I can quickly find the movement controls since they're separated by the rest of the buttons, I have quick and easy access to a nice number of other keys... I just like it.
I approve of anything that contains more Sinatra.
What new Radio station?

Out of these I think I should only use two to cut down on file size/related problems: One For My Baby, I'll Be Around, Jingle Bells, Come Fly With Me, Let's Fall In Love.
What are the Fallout games' Signature songs? Yknow, Fallout 2's is "A kiss to build a dream on", Fallout 3's is "I don't want to set the world on fire", New Vegas' is "Jingle Jangle Jingle"

I think 3's could be "A Kiss To Build A Dream On". It appeared on trailers i think, and it's just so nice to hear it. "Jingle Jange Jingle" is a hell of an earworm.
I think Vegas's is 'Blue Moon' which appeared in the intro.
3's is obviously butcher pete

A Kiss To Build A Dream On was used in 3's trailers as a throwback to Fallout 2. I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire was it's 'theme', I've heard that the original devs had wanted that to be the 'theme' of one of the first two games but they'd had trouble getting the license.
