New Vegas' is "Jingle Jangle Jingle"
As much as I want NV's theme to be Kyser's, the actual theme is Sinatra's "Blue Moon".
I'm pretty sure it goes like this- "Maybe" - Fallout - A song of remorse, directly related to the apocalypse. A bittersweet melody, played over both the opening and the credits. It should be noted the Black Isle originally intended to use "I don't want to set the world on fire" but could not secure the rights. "A Kiss To Build A Dream On" - Fallout 2 - A song about hope, rebuilding civilization. Faster paced then "Maybe", it reflects the game world getting back on it's feet. "I don't want to set the world on fire" - Fallout 3 - A reprise of the first game, a song of regret over the war. "Blue Moon" - Fallout: NV - Again, a reprise. This time, about the second game. The "Blue Moon" represents vegas, giving hope to those around for a better tomorrow, and a return to the pre-war world.
I've gone for That's Life, Autumn in New York and Jingle Bells for Sinatra songs. Yeah That's Life is from the early 60s but it's still the right style, and Jingle Bells isn't actually all that Christmasy. Autumn in New York for obligatory setting name dropping.
Am I the only person who doesn't like Butcher Pete? At least it's better that that 'Mighty, Mighty Man' song, that's just plain fucking awful.

I just really dislike that song. Mighty Mighty man is the Johnny Guitar of FO3. It just doesn't feel like it belongs in the game. On another note, i think "Big Iron" is one of the best songs in NV.
Grand Central exterior front: (Unfinished, building itself is probably finished though) All kinds of graphical fuckery until I generate LOD which is the absolute last thing to do since it's apparently an overnight process. (Tall buildings don't fully show, backdrop skyscrapers don't show up etc. etc.)

One of my friends made a gun for F:NV. Thoughts?

Man i am so pissed, all of the BoS power armor i found and stored in ED-E isn't there, i put them in there since they were too heavy and now i have no idea where they went.

Yeah, unless you have the dressup mod.
Didn't know about it, damn. I guess i will just have to go back and pick it up off the ground.
What are the Fallout games' Signature songs? Yknow, Fallout 2's is "A kiss to build a dream on", Fallout 3's is "I don't want to set the world on fire", New Vegas' is "Jingle Jangle Jingle"
Like hell it is, New Vegas' signature song is "Ain't That a Kick in the Head," [editline]26th March 2011[/editline]
doesn't faction armour automatically get dropped by companions
Only if it is incompatible, for instance, Boone will wear NCR armour but not Brotherhood or Legion.
Like hell it is, New Vegas' signature song is "Ain't That a Kick in the Head," [editline]26th March 2011[/editline] Only if it is incompatible, for instance, Boone will wear NCR armour but not Brotherhood or Legion.
We're talking the song that plays in the intro, not the one that's alluded to in the first quest.
I just noticed that the guy who voices the Medic in TF2(Robet Downes) is also Deputy Beagle and Mr. Gutzy. [editline]25th March 2011[/editline] Also anyone know any good weapons mods besides classic Fallout weapons?
We're talking the song that plays in the intro, not the one that's alluded to in the first quest.
But if you tell someone "Fallout: New Vegas" they're more likely to think Ain't That a Kick in the Head over Jingle Jangle Jingle
But if you tell someone "Fallout: New Vegas" they're more likely to think Ain't That a Kick in the Head over Jingle Jangle Jingle
When you tell someone "Fallout 3" they're more likely to think Butcher Pete over I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire, but that doesn't mean it isn't the intro/theme song
When you tell someone "Fallout 3" they're more likely to think Butcher Pete over I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire, but that doesn't mean it isn't the intro/theme song
Then it's not really its 'signature song'
WASD+E master race. :smug:
Change W to Mouse4 and you'll TRULY be of the master race. I personally prefer having my use key as Mouse5 (though both E and Mouse5 work in either of the Gamebryo Fallouts due to not wanting to unbind it), but I respect E.
i always thought new vegas' signature song was blue moon, considering it played in the first trailer and in the game's intro
i always thought new vegas' signature song was blue moon, considering it played in the first trailer and in the game's intro
That's like saying Gears of War's signature song is Mad World because it plays in the trailer.
gears of war had its own song, though
i always thought new vegas' signature song was blue moon, considering it played in the first trailer and in the game's intro
I thought the Eyebot being shot at while playing Jingle Jangle was the first trailer?
I thought the Eyebot being shot at while playing Jingle Jangle was the first trailer?
The announce trailer had Blue Moon. The one with Jingle Jangle was the gameplay trailer.
But if you tell someone "Fallout: New Vegas" they're more likely to think Ain't That a Kick in the Head over Jingle Jangle Jingle
not if they've watched that trailer
not if they've watched that trailer
But if they'd actually played the game (and played long enough to get to the strip) they'd think Ain't That a Kick in the Head.
But if they'd actually played the game (and played long enough to get to the strip) they'd think Ain't That a Kick in the Head.
I've put at least a hundred hours into New Vegas and think of Jingle Jangle Jingle when it's mentioned, but Blue Moon is the "theme" song of New Vegas.
Hey bros, quick question Should I get New Vegas on PC or the xbox? I honestly can't make up my mind and I would appreciate some input.
PC
