Anyone else experiencing terrible stuttering in Dead Money? My extensive mod list is probably to blame.
Would someone mind gifting me Dead Money? I promise i will make it up to you by gifting you something for the same price whenever i have money.

-Nevermind-
In the next few hours everyone is gonna be asking for dead money Including me
I'll only ask once (since I don't have any spending money right now and I won't be getting my next paycheck until next Friday), but if anyone has a spare $10 and can kindly gift it my way I'd be very grateful.
If it makes any difference I gifted Super Meat Boy and Plants vs Zombies to two friends, and I don't even own those games myself ;P
But yeah, I'm only asking once and I'm not expecting anyone to buy it for me, but it's worth a try. Thanks in advance.
(since it's actually out, will be my one and only time I ask)

Steam: Trolling you since 2003
Bought the DLC and now i can't even launch the Game.
Aaargh.
-Fixed it-
I wish I wasn't a compulsive kleptomaniac in this game and I wish the fucking load times weren't so long on the 360.
I'm considering getting dead money, what do you guys think of it?
Just got Dead Money. I hope it's 10 bucks well spent...
When I try to start dead money my game just crashes.

I finally got inside the bunker but nothing happens inside, the fuck.
So I just beat the main storyline does that mean I have to start a new character if I want to play again?
Bummer
Only if you were spastic enough to only use one save/autosave/quicksave.
Is Dead Money not working for anyone else on PC? I bought it and downloaded it but it seems that the quest won't start and I didn't get the level cap notification. Anyone else getting this?

Nevermind, managed to force the quest to run by Commands.
Finally got it working, the atmosphere in the dlc is amazing and I'm quite enjoying it. The way you have to decapitate ghost people adds a bit of variety to the combat and avoiding the cloud and all the traps really makes you have to think about where you're going.
And that infernal collar beeping aaaaaaa
Dead Money is pretty good so far, I like the art design, no bugs to speak of yet though.
Yeah, this DLC is actually pretty neat. Not to mention the Assassin Armour is badass, and fits EXTEMELY with the Veteran Ranger helmet.
If only they added a larger town around the Villa, it would be a lot better...
The atmophere is what's winning me over with this DLC so far.
Shit, and I'm poor.
Oh well, good thing I have two completed characters saved over for when I do get money.
Some questions.
1) How long is Dead Money?
2) Does it add a fair amount of content outside of missions? (talking about areas to explore, new weapons/amor, etc.)
3) How's the story?
4) Are there side quests or is it a straight linear fragfest?
5) Is it a proper release, or a shitty straight console-port DLC?
6) In your opinion, is it worth the buy?
Thanks in advance.
Liking dead money so far, it's better than all Fo3 DLC in my opinion.
I got the Tailor Maid mod(Obviously allows you to customize armors) from the last thread and don't know what the shit I'm supposed to do to use it. Can someone help me? Feel free to leave your boxes here.
The parts you can use with it are in boxes behind the Doc's house in Goodsprings.
EDIT: Fuck, I'm late.

I may have to get it then..
Also, is NVSE updated yet?
Yes.
As someone who bought Dead Money for the Xbox, I really do recommend it. The only qualms I have with it is:
1) Level designs in terms of flow are meh at best (mostly focused in the Villa though), and in some cases rely on you rushing into extremely deadly areas without any clear idea where to go.
2) Relatedly, I encountered at least one quest point that didn't trigger the first few times (although on the PC you can use the console as a work around), which resulted in my death.
Other than that though, I loved it. Great level design in terms of atmosphere, combat is actually dangerous again (especially as healing yourself or getting rid of radiation is far harder), and the story and characters are great as well.
And to be cryptic, a few things in the wasteland make more sense, and (not really a spoiler per se, but to be safe) [sp] SHITLOADS OF FORESHADOWING! [/sp]
The [sp]Battle at the Divide sounds really awesome. It would be pretty interesting if the other courier was coded to be the opposite of your character, for example, if you have a medical specialist with high-tech energy weapons, the other courier fights with melee and unarmed weapons, and if you have a stealthy guy, the other courier has a huge minigun. [/sp]

[sp]The Big Empty should be pretty awesome as well, if it's stuffed full of old-war tech. Also, apparently the courier we fight was originally supposed to be a companion, Ulysses.[/sp]
Woah, found a awesome addition to my idea on TvTropes.
[sp]
The Showdown with Ulysses will involve a showdown between companions
Ulysses, as The Courier's counterpart has his own companions, some of which are counterparts to The Courier's own. Perhaps a rogue Paladin as Veronica's counterpart, a young hotshot gunslinger as Raul's, a former Legionaire Frumentarii as Boone's and others. The final confrontation at The Great Divide will not only be The Courier's showdown but ones for his/her companions.

From the dummied out stuff relating to him from the actual game, [sp]he's an America themed character; he fights with an "Eagle Flagpole" and his jacket is made out of a pre-war flag.[/sp]
