Well this is good news:

Hopefully it will include the bug fixes in the 2 Community Patches, plus more. I also really want them to fix the Preorder DLC bugs.
started playing Fallout 3 a few weeks ago now, how do I even enter whatever the DLCs have in store for me?
like, Operation Anchorage, how do I get there
Follow the missions.
Well I managed to get into new vegas a while back, got to the ghouls rocket place and I have to deal with something for them. Brotherhood was released, got absorbed in that, can't get back into NV :(
I loved FO3 but I'm finding it hard to stick with new vegas.
The fucking mines EVERYWHERE aren't helping.

If you don't receive missions about them when you start up the game, then when the main startup menu for it comes up, click the data button and check the boxes next to the names of the DLCs.

I do like the way Bethesda use some of the fixes the community makes in their games. Oblivion had some of the major bugs sorted by the community before Bethesda even acknowledged they existed if I remember.
Anyone know how to get to the Allied Technology Offices? I've referenced the Fallout Wiki and spent the afternoon searching for it, but I can't find it. Kind of pissing my off cause there's a skilled book there that I want.

Okay, so head along the road that goes from the Grub n' Gulp (straight West from Camp Golf), along the back end of Camp McCarran. On the world map, it's directly parallel to the North from the road that has the Repconn Headquarters. It's at the far Southwest corner of McCarran, on the outside, to be precise.
I may have been there, but I think there is also another office too. Is this the office that you have to go through one of those junk doors with the ped x-ing sign that makes you walk across the property before actually entering the building? I mean, I hate how you can see the icons, and you will be right by them according to your PipBoy, but you have to look for an entrance.
As for what Hypnotoad said, in Fallout 3, I only encountered 2 talking raiders, three if you count Jericho said he used to be a raider before moving to Megaton. There was this raider chic that screams "hey, what did I tell you about looking at me like that!?" and then there was this other raider named Lug Nut who I talked to, who bothered that Nuka Cola addict chic, Sierra whats her name. There seemed to be only three friendly super mutants. The first one I met was Uncle Leo before entering Megaton, and he gave me his stuff, you already know Faux joins you, I would of said Herold for number three, but he is stuck as a tree. Someone asked about why more people attack without reason, like reality, the reason why factions attack you for no reason is because your not with them, but raiders are drug beat as well. I only know that because in New Vegas, the raider leader for the Fiends in Vault 3 is all about drugs, but the Great Kahns are too, for some reason, while the Kahns say their raiders, the are a lot more relaxed then the fiends. I think Fo3 was more into non-stop action, where as in NV, I went a long ways without any enemies coming at me, but after I got past quarry junction and powder ganger's territory, there was that long route towards Freeside along the walls and nothing happened! I guess thugs only want to hide behind the wall.

Harold is a ghoul. He's the "mayor" of Gecko in Fallout 2. I don't like how they decided to put him in F3, he's completely out of place.
[editline]13th April 2011[/editline]
And the Khans... I hated them in F1 and F2, but they actually seem to be pretty alright in New Vegas. And by alright I mean I don't want to attack them on sight, like I do with other raiders.

Harold was wandering the American wasteland. The Oasis is where Bob decided to jam its roots and stick Harold there.

Bob scares me. :tinfoil:

Facing the entrance of Camp McCarran, go to your left and then turn right at the end of the road.
Keep following that road and there should be a barricade-wall made of wood on your right. A door leads to the interior.

Harold is NOT a ghoul, he is a FEV mutant.
Read the goddamn fallout bible.
:colbert:
Bethesda wanted to kill Fallout, so to make sure that happened they brought back Harold and killed him.
:downs:
How do you get the GECK to work for New Vegas?
I installed a fresh version right off their website into the New Vegas directory, and the thing keeps insisting that the version of the game is too high for the GECK to load. Downloading the patch does squat, since it can't find the exe.

Are you downloading the Fallout 3 version?

I'm disappoint that they put Harold in Fallout 3. They almost "stole" him in a sense, and basically killed his character for all intents and purposes.. he would have made a much better New Vegas character... a new vegas character not rooted to the ground.
Harold companion :aaaaa:
Are you downloading the Fallout 3 version?
Is there another kind?
Is there another kind?
There is two versions if I remember, one for New Vegas and one for FO3. They are marked, so just be careful which one you download.
Thanks.
So what do you think would be a good location for the next fallout game? I thought maybe new york but that would be too much like DC. Maybe the mid-west or the south?
Both featured in my mod.
Oh wait I haven't done any work on it since my voice actor disappeared into thin air and the testers were all either imaginary, incompetent or unable.

The Bloody Mess Perk is hilarious to use, i just love it when i shoot at their head and their body explodes.

When I didn't have many hours of play I liked this, I mean, more damage and exploding corpses
But it becomes lame after a while and I just avoid this perk now.
Decided to make new character. Call myself 'Thunderguts the Bloody'
Max strength. Max endurance. Tag Melee, Unarmed and Explosives.
Acquire super sledge.
Beat everything I see to a bloody pulp. Eat everything I find. Drink every bit of alcohol. Steal anything I need. Blow up things too big too beat to bloody pulp.

I second what Flak said. I'd love to test a NY mod, just give me a download link.
